BoxyCharm April 2016 Review - Cloudy With a Chance of Charms

Yea! My BoxyCharm is here for the month of April, and I am pretty excited about that. BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that delivers at least four full size beauty items to your door for the price of $21. The value of the box is always over $100, so you always get a great value. Also, the products are high end, so you get to try out so many new brands every month. I can't wait to see what this month has in store for me.

This month's theme is Cloudy with a Chance of Charms. I really love this theme, because April is so rainy, and sometimes you need something to brighten things up after so many grey clouds. I hope these items will be the perfect items to get my body and mind ready for spring, but also get me through these rainy days. Let's see if it reaches my expectations.

Pur-lisse Daily Lip Nourisher

$16.00 - 0.38 oz

This lip nourishing moisturizer is enriched with mango and shea butter, jojoba, and rice bran oils, which is a natural way to hydrate and seal it all in. I am a huge fan of Pur-lisse, and this reminds me of the lip gel I used to wear as a kid. I usually like lip moisturizers in stick form, but this moisturizing tube is great. It fully moisturizes and leaves my lips soft and brings them back to life. This doesn't last as long as I'd hope, though, and I have to reapply quite often. I am really happy with this product, though, and will use it until it is gone. You did it again, Pur-lisse.

$26.00 - 0.16 fl oz

We received one of their mascaras in a previous box, and it was a little different, but I was still happy with the product overall. This lash primer gets your lashes ready for mascara, which is something I always do anyways, but usually with another mascara. This lash primer works really well, and when layering on top, my lashes are longer and fuller than ever. Also, you could just wear this alone if you wanted. It basically works just as well as your typical mascara. I like this product, and I would be happy to try everything from their entire line.

$24.00 - 2 oz

This lotion smells like summer in the city, so it really has the perfect name. It has a mixture of bergamot, citrus, white jasmine, and musk, which creates the perfect concoction for an early summer time scent. I lotion resembles a whipped cream, which is also perfect for this warmer month. I hate thick creams in the summer, and it is right around the corner. I really do like this hand cream, but it isn't something I would ever spend that much money for. It is nice, but not amazing, and the tube isn't even filled to the brim. I will use this up, obviously, and I will be happy to do so. I think I will bring it into the office and break it out every time I want to feel like I'm on vacation.

$23.00

At first, I wasn't too excited about this product or this color, but after trying it out, I am in love. This brown is usually too dark for my skin, but it is a great color for a smokey effect. To add to the color, there are multicolored speckles blended within to give your eyeshadow a party effect. I saw someone's makeup recently that looked like a disco ball on your eyes, and I wanted to give it a try, and this eye shadow is a great way to resemble that look. I will be wearing this every weekend when I go out, and since it is full size, I know it will never run out. This is a big win after I though it was going to be a fail.

$19.90 - 0.27 fl oz

Out of every item in this month's box, this is the one that I don't like, nor would I ever use. I do like the Ofra brand, but liquid lipstick is way too heavy for me, and this color just isn't my style. I do think it is funny it is named Pasadena, which is a fancier suburb of LA, and I could totally see women there wearing this color. I might have tried this out in a different color, but after clicking through them all, they are all a little out there. I think this would be the perfect product for anyone who likes to go a little extreme in their lip color, but unfortunately, that isn't for me. I will probably just pass this along to a friend or a sister. Maybe even my mom!

Overall, I am really happy with this month's box. I really love that lash primer and the lip moisturizer. The hand cream and eyeshadow are both really nice too. I will use all of those products up quickly. Like I said before, that liquid lipstick just isn't for me, but I am alright with one item not being perfect for me. This month's box has a value of $108.90. That is pretty crazy for a box that only costs $21. I don't know how they do it over and over again. I don't think I will ever cancel my BoxyCharm since I am always a fan of most of the products, and value is out of this world.

Target Beauty Box April 2016 Review - Hello, Sunshine

My Target Beauty Box has arrived for the month of April, and even though I know exactly what is inside, I am looking forward to checking out all the products. Target Beauty Box is a monthly beauty box that you purchase from Target online and delivers full size and and sample size beauty products for anywhere between $5 and $10 depending on the value of the items inside. Sometimes they have a great value, while other times the items inside aren't worth that much, but I do like trying out different higher end drugstore products.

I didn't really think that they had themes, but more phrases on their descriptive cards, but I definitely think that they do have a small sort of theme. This month it is "Hello, Sunshine." Spring is here, and the warm weather is setting in. These items will help get you ready for summer and back outdoors to enjoy the weather. These boxes also come with descriptive cards that explain each item. That is helpful for items that I really am not sure what they are or how they work. These cards are always helpful. I can't wait to see what they have in store for me this month.

Marlowe. No. 022 Body Butter

$9.99 - 8 oz    ($1.25 Value)

This is the first time I have ever heard of this brand, and it looks and feels like a higher end brand, but is actually reasonably priced. For a body butter, it is a little lighter than I expected, but it is still really moisturizing. I am not a fan of the smell, either. I am guessing it doesn't have an added smell to keep it more natural, but this scent is not that great. I reminds me of your generic unscented lotion from the pump that I grew up on. I will use this sample, but I don't think I would ever purchase the full size container. It just isn't cheap enough for a product that I don't love. I am glad I was able to try it out, though.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

$3.59 - 25 ct    ($1.00 Value)

I've been able to sample these wipes before, and I've always been impressed with how well they work. I love watching my makeup wipe right off my face and then see it all on the cloth. It gets rid of everything too. The thing I've never liked about these wipes, or any wipe for that matter, is how they leave a light residue on your face which doesn't feel completely clean. These wipes do work really well, though, and they come in handy when you don't have access to a sink or washcloth. Also, these smaller packs are perfect for keeping the clothes moist until the very last one. The larger packs always dry up for my pretty quickly.

COVERGIRL Colorlicious Lipstick in Spellbound

$5.99 - 3.5 g    (Full Size!)

I am really happy to see a full size product, and a lipstick at that, in this month's box. This box is already so cheap, so when a you still receive full size items, that makes me really happy. Unfortunately, this color just isn't for me. It is a bright pink, which isn't something I would ever wear. I do like the color for other people though, and I am sure the formula itself is nice. Also, the packaging is really cute, and it is a great color for Spring, now that you can bring some color back into your wardrobe and back on your face. I will probably just pass this along to a friend, which is a bummer, but I know the boxes can't be perfect for everyone.

Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport Ultra Light with SPF 30+ Sunscreen Lotion

$7.99 - 8 oz    ($2.00 Value)

Surprisingly, this sunscreen is ultra light, which really makes a difference. One of the things I hate about sunscreen is having a really difficult time rubbing it all in, especially since it is usually hot and sweat. But, this rubs in almost automatically, and it still covers really well. This does smell like every sunscreen ever, though, which I really don't care for. I like to wear sunscreen every day I spend outside, so I don't like smelling like I'm going to the beach. I will probably save this for the beach, though, since it would work perfectly there. Also, it is water resistant!

Pantene AIRspray Hair Spray

$4.99 - 7 oz    ($0.71 Value)

I don't really wear hair spray all that often, so I am never too excited to receive them in my subscription boxes, but this is something new. First of all, I like the refreshing and soft scent of this hairspray. I hate spraying my hair with hairspray that smells like hairspray. This just freshens it up a little. Also, it is really light, and while you can still feel it slightly, it doesn't leave your hair looking wet and heavy. I could use this as a volumizer at my roots or as a light spray when I curl my hair. I really like this hairspray, and I could see myself using a product like this. Plus, this tiny can is perfect for traveling.

Laneige Water Bank Soothing Gel Mask

$24.00 - 5 ct    ($4.80 Value)

I am a part of the craze and absolutely love sheet masks. This one isn't really a sheet as much as it is a thicker gel blanket for your face. I am really into that, but I am a little bummed with the mask being for moisture. I would much rather just apply face lotion to fix that, and would rather use a face mask to fix bigger imperfections. I do really like this mask, though, and I think this is a nice brand. I've received their moisturizing products in the past, and they work really well. Also, I did notice my complexion to have an extra bit of color and life after using this. Plus, the value really adds to the box.

CeraVe Healing Ointment

$14.99 - 5 oz    ($0.25 Value)

I already received this sample in another box this month, so CeraVe must be pushing it hard. At first, I was happy with it, but it reminded me of a more expensive Vaseline. But now, I don't think I really care for it. It is a little watery, which is weird for an ointment that is usually used to cure dry skin. Also, it is a little greasy. I really like to use ointment on my cuticles, but I don't want everything I touch to get as greasy as my hands after using this product. I will use it up eventually, and I could even pass this along to my boyfriend or use it on my dogs paws. This was a fun sample to try again, but it just isn't that great.

Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation

$8.99 - 1 fl oz    ($0.15 Value)

While this is only a foil sample, this will last me two uses, and I really enjoy trying out different foundations. Often, I will purchase a full expensive bottle and not really like the formula or the coverage, so it is nice trying out different products. What I really like about this product is how light and airy it is. I hate when I put makeup on my face, and it feels or looks heavy. It did leave my face just a tad greasy, but I just brushed on a light powder to top it all off. I do like this foundation, and this is a pretty good color for my skin. Also, since I do like it, I can use this coupon for two dollars off the full size bottle.

Overall, I am pretty happy with this moth's box. I really enjoyed that sheet mask, and I'm happy to receive more cleansing wipes. I was pretty happy with the body butter, hair spray, and sunscreen, but I probably won't be purchasing the full size item. The lipstick just isn't for me, and the ointment isn't my favorite. But, I did enjoy trying out the foundation. This isn't an exact win, but it isn't a lose either. This month's box has a value of $16.15, which isn't that much, but it is more than I spent, so I guess I am happy with that. I did enjoy this box, but I hope next month is a complete win.

If you would like to try Target Beauty Box for yourself, keep an eye out around the beginning of the month. They sell out quickly, so make sure to buy one right when it goes on sale.

Birchbox April 2016 Review - Elegantly Effortless

Yeah! My Birchbox is here, and quite early. I received this on the 8th of the month, which is crazy for a subscription box. I would say they usually arrive in the middle end or the end of the month, so that is super early. Birchbox is a monthly subscription that delivers at least five and sometimes full size beauty samples to your door for only $10 a month. Also, you can review those samples for points that are redeemable in their online shop. You can save them up and purchase full size product of samples that you absolutely loved. It is one of my favorite boxes, and you're about to see why.

This month, Birchbox paired up with Rifle Company to create this beautifully designed box. I love these painted flowers, and it is perfectly fitted with spring. I like to display these boxes all over my house, and I've even started bringing them into my office. The ones that I don't really care for, or don't go with my style are perfect for linen closets to organize and store product. This box definitely isn't one of my favorites, but I do like it, and I think it would fit perfectly in my bathroom. I will probably stack this with a few similar other ones for storage.

This month's theme is Effortlessly Elegant. This month is going along with the renewal of spring and bringing products that will help revive your look with simple products to make big differences. I am all about this theme, because that is always my goal. I love products that are quick to use, but also create big results. I am excited to see what is inside this box and what these products can do for me. I am sure they will impress.

Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution

$21.00 - 10 fl oz    ($3.57 Value)

Birchbox in particular has been raving about these types of products, and I've actually tried a different brand of micellar solution from one of my previous Birchboxes. This solution sweeps away makeup, cleanses skin, and soothes irritation. I like it because its a one stop shop for cleaning your face. I feel like the times that I wear the most makeup are also the times that I am least likely to take them off (like a late night on the town). This one step process makes it more likely that I will take off all that dirt and grime when I get home instead of just sleeping with it on my face. This does a great job of cleaning off all my makeup, and I also see it remove dirt that I didn't even know was there. That being said, I love this product, but since you don't rinse it off, it leaves a slightly sticky film on my face. Normally, I couldn't deal with that. Instead, when I use this, I will just rinse it off instead of leaving it on my face.

PARLOR by Jeff Chasten Volumizing Lifting Spray

$24.00 - 4.9 fl oz    ($4.90 Value)

My hair is so fine and flat, so I could seriously use a product like this. I am already a huge fan of PARLOR products. They are all high end and smell great, so I am excited to try this out. This smells just as good as every other product of theirs, and works just as great too. I sprayed this on my dry hair when it needed a lift, and I noticed a big difference immediately. It created lift all over, but didn't leave it looking wet or greasy. I am in love with this volumizer, and this bottle will last me quite a while too. Only a few spritzes, and I've got instant body. Again, I always wish this line were cheaper, but I guess you have to pay for quality. This product is so great.

TOCCA Crema da Mano Hand Cream in Giulietta

$10.00 - 2 oz    ($5.00 Value)

This is a sample that I've already been able to try before, but it was a different scent, which makes me really happy. I loved this hand lotion the last time I had it so much, that it went with me everywhere, and I used it up so quickly. I am really excited about receiving another one, especially in a new scent. I am a huge fan of all the TOCCA scents and actually have the perfume kit. Giulietta is molded after the scents of pink tulip and green apple. I expected it to be more crisp, but it is actually soft and sweet. Seriously, it reminds me mostly of spring. I like this hand cream a lot, and it quickly replenishes my dry hands, but this scent isn't one of my favorites. I will definitely use it up, though. This will either go in my purse or sit on my desk at work.

Dr. Jart+ Liftra Contour Cream

$60.00 - 50 ml    ($6.00 Value)

I think out of all the samples this month, I am most excited to try out this contour cream. This cream doesn't create the appearance of beautiful skin, but it actually helps your skin by creating collagen. That visibly firms and adds volume to your skin. My natural skin used to be full of life, but I've noticed it quickly forming wrinkles, losing lift, and becoming dull. This product could be a miracle cream, and I wouldn't be surprised coming from the Dr. Jart+ line. This is on the thicker side, and feels like a thick lotion. I rubbed this all over my clean face, and while I didn't notice any firming in my face instantly, it replaced my face lotion. After a few uses, I did notice a small difference in my appearance. I really like this product, and this sample, while small, will last me a while.

Laura Geller New York Baked Blush-n-Brighten in Tropic Hues

$28.00 - 0.176 oz    ($6.36 Value)

Honestly, I already have this blush, and it is my go to blush. Seriously, I only wear this blush. I like that it looks pretty natural with the multiple colors and the baked feature makes your cheeks glow. Since I already love this product, and I already have it, I think I will just be passing this along to someone else. I don't think I will ever go through the one I have, and I would hate to see this one just sit. I am pretty bummed I didn't get this blush in a different color, because I love the formula so much, but I would like to mix up the color every once in a while. This is a great sample, but unfortunately it's a sample that I just don't think I'll ever use.

Overall, I am really happy with this box. That volumizing spray is amazing and the Litra could do wonders with my skin. I really like the hand cream even though the scent isn't my favorite, and the micellar water is the perfect solution in cleaning my face quickly while still improving my skin. The only thing I am a little disappointed about is getting the same perfume that I already have. Otherwise, I would have been really happy to receive that blush. It is amazing. This month's box has a value of $25.83. That is pretty normal for Birchbox, and I am completely happy with that amount, because it is more than I paid, and I am really happy with all the items I received. This has been a great month for Birchbox, and I hope they continue.

If you would like to try Birchbox for yourself, just click here. It is a perfect gift for yourself or anyone you'd like to treat.

Target Beauty Box March 2016 Review

My Target Beauty Box has arrived, and pretty quickly too. Target Beauty Boxes now go on sale once a month at the end of the previous month (I bought this in February), so it has almost turned into a monthly subscription. The only thing is, you have to purchase it every single time it goes on sale. They range from $5 to $10, so they are completely affordable, and they offer samples and full size products from lines found at Target. So, they could be really affordable household names or products that are higher end that you've never heard of before. I am really excited to see what brands they have for me this month.

I've noticed recently that Target Beauty Box now has a theme each month. This month's theme is Vacay Vibes. This is perfect for spring and the very popular spring break that happens this month. Also, since spring happening and summer is right around the corner, you may not be leaving the cold just yet, but you'll be able to use these products pretty quickly. I am excited to see all the spring ready products this box has in store for me.

Lineage Water Sleeping Mask

$24.00 - 70 ml    ($6.86 Value)

We've received their water face moisturizer in one of their other boxes, which I really liked, so I was excited to see another one of their products in this box. This is just like the water moisturizer, but instead it is a night face mask that you apply before bed and rinse off in the morning. It left a super light layer on my face that was really soft and comfortable, and despite it being a little sticky in some areas, this didn't come off on the pillow or rub off at all through the night. In the morning, I could tell it was still on my face when I washed it off, which felt like I was washing off freshly applied moisturizer. I didn't notice my face to be that much more moisturized, but it didn't feel even slightly dry, so I'm going to say it worked. I will pull this out every time it feels a little dry, and this little jar will last me a while. I am really happy with this sample.

$3.29 - 10 ml    (Full Size!)

I have seen these everywhere, and I know so many people that have tried them, and since I have only heard great things, I expect this to be good. I really like this single use jar, and it makes for easy application. I know they have a few different types, but I am happy with the revitalization one. My face has been looking really tired and dull lately, so I hope this does the trick. I have yet to try it, since I'm waiting for a time that I want to look my best. Also, if I like it, they are really affordable, and I can get them at target down the road.

$9.99  each - 17.9 oz    ($0.37 Value)

I've been able to try out a product from this line before, and while it works really well, it smells really natural and grainy. Almost like I'm applying a Trader Joe's to my hair. Again, I like this shampoo and conditioner good enough, but the smell is not my favorite. I liked this sample, but I don't ever think I would purchase the full size bottles. Also, I really wish this were more than just the foil samples, because I like to give it more than one try. Otherwise, the nutrients are great for your hair, so despite the smell, at least you won't lose completely.

$3.99 - 13.5 oz    ($0.53 Value)

This is another item that I've been able to sample before, and since I really enjoyed it, I am happy to use up another sample. I think I've received like four of these in previous boxes, and a few of them were completely free, so this isn't too excited to receive otherwise. The smell is nice though, like a deep, fruity perfume, and these small samples are perfect for traveling. That could be great if you are going somewhere for spring break and you don't want to bring your large bottles. I will throw this in the shower and use it before date night, or when I want to feel a little romantic.

$7.11 - 6 oz    ($1.19 Value)

While I wasn't too excited about this product at first, it's new formula makes me very interested in trying it out. Sand is always sticking to my body after applying sunscreen, but this comfort sunscreen will make the sand fall right off your body. I have yet to make it to the beach, but I am really interested in trying this product out. This does have your typical sunscreen smell, but since I'll be wearing it to the beach, I don't really mind. I wish I were going somewhere for spring break so I could try it out, but I will be at the beach soon enough.

$2.02 - 15 ml    (Full Size!)

I actually have a few Sinful Colors nail polishes in my stash already, and I really like their quality for the price. It isn't the best nail polish, or longest lasting, but the colors are really fun, and it is so affordable. This blueish mint is perfect for spring and reminds me of a clear ocean. I could see myself wearing this on my toenails all spring and summer long. I don't really have a color like this in my collection, so it will be a great addition. This is a fun color, and I am glad I got one that I will actually wear.

$3.99 - 8 oz    ($0.50 Value)

This is a completely new line at Target, so I am excited to give it a try. The lotion is on the thicker side, which I prefer with any product I use on my arms, legs, and feet. I feel like it works really well, and it leaves my normally dry legs, elbows, and feet completely comfortable and moisturized. The grapefruit scent is real, but more creamy smelling than hard citrus, and it isn't too overpowering. I love this lotion, and I wish it were a larger sample. I will have to pick some more up the next time I'm at Target.

$2.99 - 2 oz    (Full Size!)

I am already a big fan of Not Your Mother's brand, and Sea Salt Texturing spray is my go to hair styling item after dry shampoo. I like that this is on the lighter side, because sometimes they make my hair look damp and weighs it down a little. I also like that I can apply this when my hair is wet and scrunch it up a little, or I can apply this to dry hair to give it a little more texture. I really like this spray, and it is such a good price. Plus, this is a full size bottle, which is on the smaller size, but since you don't need a lot, this will last forever. I am really happy with this product, and it may even be my favorite of the box.

Overall, I am really happy with this box. It was really cheap and included a wide variety of products and brands. There wasn't really a makeup item, but since I receive plenty of other beauty subscription boxes, this doesn't bother me. I love the moisture mask, the sea salt spray, and body lotion. The nail polish is great, the shampoo and conditioner were fun to try, and the body lotion is very practical too. I am really excited to try out the sunscreen and face mask when I need them. This month's box has a value of $17.75. That isn't too exciting, but the samples are worth more than the value to me. They were all fun to try, and I've found some new gems. I can't wait to see what new products Target has in store for me next month.

If you would like to try Target Beauty Box keep an eye out for the next sale date. They sell out quickly, so you have to scoop one out right when they go on sale.

Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2016 Review

My Walmart Beauty Box has arrived for the Spring season and I am excited to see what is in store for me. Walmart Beauty box is a seasonally subscription box that delivers samples and some full size items to your door for only $5 a box. They are mostly all drug store brands, but I enjoy that, since it is nice to try out cheaper items that work really well. Also, this box is so affordable, and the value is always much better than the price, so why wouldn't you just try it out. Also, since there aren't any spoilers, I have no idea what is inside, so it is always a nice surprise.

The boxes don't really come with an itemized card or a theme, except that it is spring, which is a real bummer. Sometimes I really don't know what the item is or how it is used, so a description would be nice. Also, if I really like the an item, it would be nice to see how much it costs. But, since they are pretty basic items, there isn't really any confusion most of the time, and I can always go online if I want to read into it a little more.

Colgate Optic White Platinum Express White Fresh Mint Toothpaste

$3.96 - 3 oz    ($1.91 Value)

I love whitening toothpaste, especially since my teeth tend to darken from all that coffee I drink. This product promises to whiten your teeth after three days of use, since I use toothpaste every single day (obviously) I am sure I will see results. Also, after using this just once, my teeth feel completely clean. This isn't a full size tube, but it is a pretty good size, so this will last quite a few uses. It would also be perfect for traveling. I hate when travel samples aren't that big, and I need to bring a few for an extended trip or when multiple people are using it. This would be the perfect size.

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter Subtle Lightening Shampoo

$8.97 - 8.3 fl oz    ($2.16 Value)

I do have blonde hair, so this isn't the perfect item for me, but I have used their Brilliant Blonde shampoo before, and it is one of my favorites. I guess I could use this, since it is brightening, and it helps my hair glow, which I am all about. Also, this product smells so good, and I love smelling it in my hair all day long. After one use, I did like the extra texture in my hair, and it did seem to be just a tad brighter. I won't purchase this after I use this one up, because I'm not a brunette, but this is a higher end product, and I am happy to see it in this box.

Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer for Fair to Medium Skin Tones

$11.37 - 10 fl oz    ($2.27 Value)

I am all about using lotion to create a nice, subtle tan, especially since my skin is so fair and I don't want to damage my skin by the sun. I am always worried about tanning lotion, because sometimes it makes your skin orange, and you can't touch anything as it dries. This product is more like a lotion with the benefits of a natural looking tan. Also, since it is gradual, you don't have to worry about it applying evenly. I do also like that after one application your skin appears to glow. I think this is the perfect lotion to apply to my legs for the first few times they see the sun. That way I won't be embarrassed by how white they are now that the weather is heating up.

Biore Baking Soda Pre Cleanser

$6.12 - 6.77 fl oz    ($0.90 Value)

I am a huge fan of face scrubs, and this one is supposed to clean out your pores while gently exfoliating. Also, it smells super refreshing, so my face not only looks and feels clean, but it smells clean too. This scrub is a little soapy, but not too much, and the scrubbing beads are noticeable, but not gritty where it is a little painful. I really like this face scrub, and I can see myself purchasing this in the future. Also, this sample is pretty large, so this will last me at least a month. I really like their baking soda products after all those dark charcoal products that don't work that well for me.

Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Pink Grapefruit

$6.62 - 0.08 oz    (Full Size!)

This lip color doesn't only look great with my skin tone, but it also moisturizes and heals them over time. It is packed with natural fruit extracts and mango, which replenishes and conditions. I have always been a fan of neutrogena, but I believe this is the first lip product of theirs that I've owned, and I am pretty impressed. The only problem with moisturizing lip stick is that they tend to not stay in place. That is not ideal when you wear a darker shade and especially when you don't have access to mirrors the clean it up. Also it's not very long lasting. I think I would prefer this product in a more natural color, but I will be happy to use this. It is also a great color for spring.

CeraVe Healing Ointment

$20.87 - 12 oz    ($0.15 Value)

This reminds me of vaseline, and it does a lot of the same things. This product promises to protect and soothe dry, cracked, and chafed skin. I think this is the perfect ointment for elbows, dry cuticles, and lips. It is a little greasy, but I think this would be ideal to apply before bedtime or while moisturizing the rest of your body. This tiny bottle is perfect for throwing in my purse to apply when I really need it, or to keep by my bedside for when I need to apply in the middle of the night. I like this sample, but I honestly wouldn't buy this over a cheap bottle of vaseline.

Vera Wang Embrace Periwinkle & Iris Eau de Toilette Spray

$28.32 - 1 fl oz    ($1.13 Value)

Unlike many people, I really enjoy receiving perfume samples in my subscription boxes. I really enjoy trying out new scents, and I am always looking for something that is perfect for me. Also, I like to switch up my perfume with my mood and to match what I am doing. This particular scent isn't my favorite, and I am not a fan of the powdery, clean scents. It kinda reminds me of an older lady perfume. I did notice that Vera Wang has an array of different scents, so I would be interested trying some of those out. The green tea and pear is the most alluring. This isn't really for me, but I will throw it in with the other scents I have and wear it once in a while.

Burt's Bees BB Cream in Light/Medium

$15.00 - 1.7 oz    ($0.26 Value)

I am already a huge fan of the Burt's Bees brand, and their products are always high quality. Also, since they are mostly all natural, you can feel good using them, and you also know that you are rubbing chemicals into your skin. This BB cream is the perfect replacement of your normal foundation, and even though there are three colors to chose from, this light/medium is the perfect color for me. I am really impressed with the coverage, and you have to use a lot less than the normal foundation for complete coverage. This is probably my favorite sample out of the group, and unfortunately, it is the smallest one. I have a full bottle of foundation right now, but I will happily purchase this once I need it again.

Overall, I am really happy with this season's Walmart Beauty Box. I enjoyed all of these samples, except the perfume, and they will all get used up, especially since they are all so practical. Also, I think these products are a little higher end than I am used to from this box. This box has a value of $15.40. I am really happy with that value, especially since it only cost $5. The moisturizing lipstick is worth more than I paid all by itself. I hope they keep getting better, and I really can't wait to see what they have in the summer box. We will see in three months.
