Ipsy Glambag March 2016 Review - Hello Spring

Yea! My Ipsy Glambag is here for the month of March, and with Spring in the air, I am looking forward to lighter products and pretty pastels to beat the winter blues. Ipsy is a monthly subscription box that delivers five sample and full size beauty products in a specially curated makeup bag for only $10. I really like Ipsy because it is so affordable and it always has a great value, but sometimes I'm not loving all the products, but I haven't disliked a bag enough to cancel. I do like this subscription, and I am excited to see what items are inside.

This month's theme is Hello Spring. I think that this is the perfect theme for this moment. As soon as the weather starts to turn warm, everyone is excited to get back outside, and there is always a new spark of happiness in the air. So, Ipsy's products don't usually go with the theme, but this theme could be a little different. One thing that is always true, Ipsy's makeup bag always goes with the theme, and this one is really cute. The spring colors are really cute, and the rose print is perfect for this new awakening season. Hopefully these products inside will go along with the theme for once.

NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in

$7.00 - 0.13 oz    (Full Size!)

I do really enjoy this brand, but this product just isn't for me. I am not surprised that there is an item that I don't love, because I've never been smitten with the entire bag, so I'm glad it's a product that I can easily pass along. While this lip color is not for me, it is a great color for early spring, and it could be the perfect amount of color to add to your winter wardrobe. Also, this is a full size item, which really adds to the value of the box. I don't want to try this out, because I'd rather pass it along sealed, but I'd be interested in trying out the suede lipstick in a different color.

Mellow Cosmetics Powder Blush in Bronze

$10.00 - 0.16 oz    (Full Size!)

When I read this was a blush, I was really confused, but the color is bronze, so I am pretty sure this is really a bronzer. Since many people haven't seen the sun in a few months, it is great to create that sun kissed look with makeup, so I think this product is perfect for spring. I am also really digging this color. It is bronze, but it is really light, so it would look more natural on your face. Also, it has a little bit of a pink hue, so I know that this will work perfectly with my skin tone. I do like bronzer, and I think it is a great and quick way to sculpt your face, but sometimes bronzer is a little too dark. This particular color won't be too dark, especially for spring. Also, it is another full size product. Yes!

Me me me Loose Powder Brush

$19.86

One thing I like about Ipsy, they often include beauty tools along with the makeup and skin care product, which I really like. On the other hand, they mostly send cheaper dupes that I already have, and usually a nicer one at that. This is a nicer tool, but since I have one that is more expensive, I will also be passing this item along. The bristles are really soft, though, and this brush is medium packed. I do like this, but since I don't need it I don't want to hoard. I can see a lot of Ipsy subscribers really enjoying this item.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

$12.00 - 1.8 oz    (Full Size!)

I am an almost daily user of dry shampoo, so this product is perfect for me. Even though that may be the case, I've already gone through a full bottle of this, and it isn't my favorite. It does work, but it takes a lot, and my hair is still slightly greasy. I think this is perfect for when I want to add some texture in my hair when making the transition from work to bar. I also like the nice light, fresh scent. Everyone loves this product, and I am not sure why. I will use this up, though, because I use dry shampoo so often, but I will happily go back to my favorite dry shampoo afterwards.

Nourish Organic Rosehip & Rosewater Body Oil

$19.99 - 3 fl oz    ($3.33 Value)

Lately, rosewater has been everywhere, and experts have said how great it has been for your skin. The ingredients in this product evens skin tone, helps maintain moisture, and smooths your skins texture. I rubbed this over my skin, and it did feel nice and smooth. I didn't notice any quick improvement in my tone, but I'm sure that would improve with continuous use. I did notice some improvement with my skin texture though. My one complaint with this sample is that it is not a spritzer like the full size bottle. That would be much more ideal for the product. I do like it though, and am excited to use it.

Overall, I like this month's bag, but it is far from one of my favorites. This is pretty normal for Ipsy. I am in love with the bronzer, and the body oil is a product I am excited to use. The dry shampoo will definitely get used up. I also like that the products actually went well with the theme for once, which makes the bag a little more special. I like the brush, but since I have a better one, this one will go to a friend. Same thing with the lipstick. It is just not my color. One thing I can say about this month's bag is the value. I estimate it to be worth $52.19, and that doesn't even include the makeup bag. That is impressive, especially for a $10 subscription. That is always amazing.

Bulu Box Shapeology Blender Bottle Bundle Review

Along with Bulu's monthly subscriptions, they often offer bundles at a discounted price that allows you to stock up on products, get the full kit of products that work well together, or stock up on more samples. This bundle is the perfect starter kit to your first blender bottle at is available for the small price of $13.99. That is usually the cost of the blender bottle alone, so this is a great deal, and it lets you try out multiple items that work with your bottle. I am interested in getting into protein shakes, so now that I have the bottle, I can try out these many samples to create different concoctions and really see what I am interested in drinking daily or weekly. These are all the items that come with the blender bottle bundle.

Shapeology Blender Bottle

$8.99

I've never thought I would need a bottle like this, but once I started drinking protein shakes, I noticed that my ninja wasn't able to blend up the powders perfectly, and I was drinking chunks of it at the end of my drink. This bottle is the perfect place to toss in all the ingredients, mix them together, and take on the go. This would be the perfect bottle to take with me to drink my breakfast on my way to work or in the car on the way to a hike. This blender works pretty well, but I still wish it were better mixing up all the ingredients. Also, if I have to blend up ingredients like a banana or fruit, I have to throw it in the blender anyways. I think this is perfect for those on the go moments, but if I have more time, I will still use my ninja.

Fanta Labs Driv

$35.99 - 30 packs    ($2.40 Value)

These five calorie energy packs help aid in performance and recovery. By adding these packs into your favorite protein shake or drink, you can reduce fatigue, reduce muscle trampling and soreness, increase hydration, and support heart health. Not only will this pick you up, but it will keep you going and help you recover afterwards. I like this addition to the blender bottle, because it isn't your typical protein supplement, but it is still a great powder to blend up with your other protein additives. I like these samples, and hope they work well. I will definitely give them a try after an extreme workout or hike. This will be the best after workout snack to put vitamins and nutrients back into your body without undoing the work that you just did.

NeoCell Beauty Infusion

$32.99 - 11.64 oz    ($1.11 Value)

While I normally drink protein shakes for health and energy, I do really care about my skin, hair, and nails, so this beauty infusion is perfect for me. This powder is packed with vitamins and minerals that nourish your hair, skin, and nails. The orange flavor was pretty nice, and I mixed it into a citrus shake, so it complimented the other flavors. I don't think this is something that I would purchase, but it was really great to try out. These are a little expensive, but maybe I would purchase them to use once a week. This is an interesting supplement, and it really shows you the wide range of product that can go into your shake.

Eat the Bear Grizzly Whey Pure Isolate Protein in Ice Cream Sandwich

$52.99 - 2 lbs    ($1.71 Value)

I actually received this sample before in my subscription box, and I was really interested in trying out the ice cream sandwich flavor. It is a little too chocolaty for me, because I do hate chocolate, but I can see many people loving this flavor. On that note, this protein powder was full of flavor, so I was able to mix it with only a few ingredients, and really get a good tasting drink. I am interested in trying out their other flavors, which take it much further than your normal vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. I am glad they added a protein sample to this box, but I am really happy that it is more than your average protein powder. Before I do pick a flavor, I really want to make sure I like it. Otherwise, I'd be wasting a whole lot of money.

Volo Vitamins Energy Stick Packs in Citrus

$28.95 - 30 packs    ($0.97 Value)

These energy powder sticks will give you an extra boost of energy by powering your mind and body to get through that day of work or help you through your workout afterwards. It is packed with vitamins and nutrients such as vitamin B and amino acids that naturally hydrate and energize. Also, each pack is only 5 calories. I like that this sample reminds you that your shakes can be more than just for protein. I drink coffee every single day on my way to work, so this would be a great alternative. I could also drink this for lunch to get me through that mid morning slump. The citrus flavor wasn't too bad either.

SPORTea Hot Tea

$19.99 - 40 bags    ($0.50 Value)

This is another item that I've received in my subscription box, and it wasn't my favorite or least favorite item to receive. I do like tea, but this one wasn't too flavorful, and I didn't notice a huge difference between this tea and other teas I've drank before. This is a good reminder that tea can be your liquid in your protein shake. Also, this tea is full of caffeine, so it can also be an alternative to my coffee pick me up. This sample isn't too exciting,

PepPod in Citrus Vanilla

$39.99 - 30 tabs    ($1.33 Value)

These tabs are really the one item that you can't use in the blender bottle, which confuses me why it is part of this bundle to begin with. These tabs are something that I really like, though, and they are also something that I can really use. They fizz in your mouth, which is a little weird, and they are also a little sour, but I really liked them. I didn't notice a surprising amount of additional energy, but they did help me through my workout. These tabs are pretty fun, and you can throw them right in your purse, which is nice. They are a little expensive though, so I don't think I would purchase them.

Overall, I am pretty happy with this bundle. It would have been nice to receive these samples as an addition to the price of the bottle, but I am happy to have paid the additional price to get a few items to use in the bottle. Otherwise, I would have had nothing. It is also a great way to see how many different products work with your blender bottle. I estimate this bundle to be worth $17.01. That is more than the price I paid, so I am happy with that price. It was well worth what I spent on everything as a whole.

If you are interested in this bundle, just click here. For only $13.99, you are able to to get a jump start to a healthier you with a bottle you can keep forever.

Birchbox March 2016 Review - Ready for Anything

My Birchbox is here and much earlier than I've ever seen. I did order this featured box in addition to my regular birchbox, so I am guessing that is why. Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that offers at least five beauty samples and sometimes full size items curated just for you and delivered right to your door. You get all that for only $10 a month. Plus, if you review the items, you get a dollar back for each one to spend in their shop on full size products. I love this subscription box, and I've found some great items that I just cannot live without.

Each month, Birchbox sends out a different patterned box to go along with the theme. I really enjoy these boxes, and I've absolutely loved some of the patterns. You can use them to decorate you home, to organize all your samples, or really how ever you like. This one isn't my favorite or my least favorite. I won't be putting this particular one on display, but I will be more than happy to organize more of my samples with this.

This month's curated box is put together by Birchbox themselves. Usually, they will have a guest pull together the samples and the theme, but Birchbox is all on it on their own. This month's theme is Ready for Anything. It is all about having a small kit of products that will help you transform from day to night or even get ready in a flash. So, when your friends invite you to a pop up concert, or you're short on time, these items will make sure that you are ready for anything.

Wilma Schumann Skincare Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads

$18.00 - 5 pairs    ($3.6 Value)

I am starting to develop fine lines, wrinkles, and puffiness around my eyes, so it is great to find a product that tackles all three. Collagen is the cure all ingredient to stop your face from aging, but will also reverse the wrinkles and aging that has happened from all those years of living your life. These take about twenty minutes to work, so they are the perfect product to use on a at home spa or your relaxing Sunday. I have yet to try these out, because I am waiting for a time that my eyes need some extra TLC, but I am excited to see how well they work.

Smashbox Photo Op Eyeshadow Trio in Filter

$28.00 - 0.09 oz    ($12.44 Value)

I know that many people are absolutely in love with the Smashbox brand, but it doesn't sell to me like many others. I do look at it as a higher end brand, and I do think it is higher quality, but it has never been my favorite or go to brand. This trio palette is the perfect three colors that you would ever need to create the basic eyeshadow look. They don't have a shimmer either, so this trio is perfect for a more natural look. I like the two lightest colors, but the dark isn't something that I would wear too often. The pigmentation is really nice too. I think that everyone will be obsessed with this trio, but I'm not everybody, and it just isn't my favorite. I will keep it in with my other shadows, but another palette will make my emergency kit.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream

$27.50 - 1.7 oz    ($4.04 Value)

Everyone has been obsessed with Kiehl's line lately, and while I've known about it for a while, I have yet to try any of their products. I am a huge fan of face cream, and I use it every single day. This cream was the perfect weight, and it completely moisturized my skin without being too heavy. I also liked how it settled into my skin. I've used creams before that just laid onto without really soaking in. I am a fan of this cream, and I will use up this entire sample. I hope that Birchbox starts including more of their products in my monthly boxes. If not, I might have to splurge on some of their items.

PARLOR by Jeff Chasten Smoothing Blowout Spray

$24.00 - 4.9 fl oz    ($4.90 Value)

I actually don't own a blowout spray, and I've recently considered buying one to help protect my hair from heat. This doesn't only save your hair from heat, but it also adds volume and luster. I am a huge fan of Jeff Chastain products, and they all smell amazing. This spritzer was a little difficult to get product evenly in my hair, but I did notice a great amount of difference in my hair with volume and shine. This product is a miracle spray, and I absolutely love it, but I wish it were a little cheaper. I am going to use every last drop of this sample, and maybe I will splurge on the full size product.

MILK Studios Lip Color in C.R.E.A.M.

$22.00 - 0.01 oz    ($3.08 Value)

This may be a tiny, tiny sample, but I am really excited to give this a try. This is a brand new product in the Birchbox shop, and every color is already sold out. I can totally see why, too. This lipstick's formula is amazing. It is creamy, so it leaves a nice medium coverage, it is moisturizing, so it doesn't leave your lips flaky, and it lasts all day. I was surprised to see this still on my lips hours after putting it on. Also, the matte finish is completely in style, and I feel great in the color. It is "nude" which is completely true for my lips. It almost matches my lip color, but it makes them look fuller and gives me a more polished look. I really love this lipstick and I have been wearing it every single day since I received it. This is a tiny sample, but I know it will last me a lot longer than I think. Hopefully it will be back in stock when I run out.

This curated box is really everything that you need to pull it together in no time. I am really in love with the blowout spray, face cream, and lipstick. Those collagen eye patches are awesome, and they will be used the minute I notice some slouch under my eyes. The eyeshadow trio is just ok, which I am sure I am the only one who is going to say that, but that brand just isn't for me. This month's box has a value of $28.06, which is pretty great for only spending $10. Sometimes Birchbox has an amazing value, but this is pretty normal for their boxes. I am alright with this, because I love most of the items from this box, and they will all get used, so the value is even higher for me. I can't wait to see what Birchbox has in store for me next month.

If you would like to try Birchbox for yourself, just click here. It is my favorite box every month because I always receive items that I love, and it is a great value.

Pet Gift Box January 2016 Review - Tail-Gate Party

My, well, my dog's, Pet Gift Box has arrived for January. Pet Gift Box is a monthly subscription box that delivers at least five full size items for your pet for the small price of $18.99. I've subscribed to a few other pet boxes in the past, but I've always liked this one the best. It is not only affordable, but it also delivers a wide variety of items. Other boxes will just give treats and toys, but this one always sends a few extras along with those items. I really enjoy this box, and my dog does too.

Another thing I really like about this box are the themes. They always work perfectly with the month, and the items inside are curated with the theme in mind. This month's theme is Tail-Gate Party. The NFL playoffs are a big part of this month, and the big one is coming so soon. For the Superbowl, we always like to watch, eat a bunch of food, and drink some beers, but our dog is never included. I hope these items inside will allow us all to get in the spirit for the Superbowl, but also allow our fur baby to join in on the festivities.

$7.99 - 4 oz

These treats are so cute, and they go perfectly with the theme. The treats have grill marks on them and appear like they are patties right off the grill. I really like the size of these treats, because they aren't too big or small. These would be the perfect treat to give him after taking him outside or for being a good listener. I tend to always receive small treats, but since he is an older dog, and he has already learned all of his tricks, we don't tend to use those as often. He really likes these treats, and eats them up instantly. I think these are really cute, and I am glad they are a part of this box.

Brew Buddies Malted Barley Dog Treats

$9.99 - 6 oz

These aren't just your regular small reward treat, but these are beer bottle shaped and are actual beer flavored. I think that is so great and unique. They are on the smaller side though, so he eats them in one small bite, and doesn't really get that large of a reward from them. I prefer treats on the larger side, but these were really fun. I wasn't sure how the flavor would go over, because everyone isn't interested in the flavor of beer, but he really enjoyed them. I am guessing they have some meat flavoring. These are really cute and a really good idea, but they aren't my favorite treat.

$6.99 - 12 fl oz

This is a definite way to include my dog in on our drinking festivities. The drinking concoction is placed in a beer bottle and has beer flavoring, but it also includes meaty flavors. My dog actually received one of these for Christmas from one of my relatives, and while it wasn't this flavor, it was really fun to give our dog a "beer" while everyone else was drinking. I will definitely use this one for the Superbowl to allow my dog to join in on the party. I really liked this special treat, and it is the perfect little extra for this month's box.

Howard Pet Products Vintage Flat Football Dog Toy

$6.99

What would a football themed box be without a football toy? This deflated antique ball looks just like I would expect, and it is the perfect toss toy for indoors. It is a little on the smaller side, but when throwing items indoors, I like to keep them small and soft. Also, since this is a "flat" ball, there isn't stuffing inside, and my dog won't want to tear it apart right away. He really likes this toy, and it has quickly become my favorite toss toy to play with him around the house. Also, what a cute toy to bring out for the Superbowl or any playoff game.

Remarkabowl Pet-Pro Footbowl

$12.49

This is a really cute bowl, but I don't really want this out all the time, and it is a little stupid to only have this out one time a year. I am a big fan of college football, though, so we could put this out for fall and leave it until the end of football season. I think this would be another great item to bring to tailgate. Everyone would love seeing this bowl, and it would be a big hit. This is a sturdy bowl, and the quality is really nice. It is also really affordable for anyone that would like to get one of their own. I like these kinds of items, because it separates this box from all the other pet subscription boxes, but I am not in love with this item. I think I will mostly just store it away until it is football season.

Overall, I am pretty happy with this month's box. It isn't my favorite they've ever curated, but I think the theme is perfect for the time of year, and the items all fit perfectly within the theme. The "beer" is my favorite item. It is really cute and clever. Those Grill-icious treats are my dog's favorite, and the toy is both cute and sturdy. The bowl isn't my favorite, because I am not sure I will get a lot use out of it. Those beer shaped treats are a little smaller than I like, so I probably won't go through those very quickly. This box has a value of $44.45. I spent less than $20 on this box, so that is more than double the value. I think this box is a great way to stock up on treats and toys for cheaper than purchasing them straight from the store. Also, it is a fun treat for both you and your dog.

If you would like to try Pet Gift Box for yourself, or your loved fur baby, just click here. It is a great and affordable way to stock up on treats for the cutie in your life.

Ipsy Glam Bag February 2016 Review - Pretty in #IPSYPINK

My Ipsy Glam Bag has arrived for the month of February, and this is one of my favorite month's to receive subscription boxes. Since February is such a girly month, I am happy to receive these types of items, but they are can also prepare me for the biggest date night of the year. Ipsy is a monthly subscription box that offers at least five sample size and full size items delivered to your door in a makeup bag for only $10 a month. It also tends to always a have a great value. I can't wait to see what Ipsy has in store for me this month.

This month's theme is Pretty in #IpsyPink. I really don't love that they use hashtags in the theme, because it is just to get their posts up. I like that the theme is about one of my favorite colors, pink, and I really hope their are a lot of pink items inside. I really do like the movie, and this theme is making me want to watch it once again. I don't really like this makeup bag, unfortunately. It is really cute, but just not my style. It is textured on one side and smooth on the other, which makes me think this one is higher quality. I will throw  this one in with the rest of hand it off to one of my friends.

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in I'm Kind of a Big Deal

$15.00 - 0.57 fl oz    (Full Size!)

Out of all the nail polish brands in the whole world, Trust Fund is my absolute favorite. I really like the branding, the colors are great, and it is also high quality. When I saw the box, I was really excited to reveal the color, and I am pretty happy with this one. It is a ballerina pink with a touch of purple. I think this is a great color for the month of love, yet it isn't the same red or pink that you have a million bottles of. I really like this color for my fingers or toes, and adds a warm touch to my winter clothes. This is a great addition to this month's box, and it also goes perfectly with the theme. Let's not forget to mention that it is a full size item.

Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion

$58.00 - 2 oz    ($7.25 oz Value)

I am always thrilled receiving Dr. Brandt products in my subscription boxes, because they are high end, high value products that always work really well. This facial cleanser has tiny scrubbing granules that get deep into the pores and also rid your face of any dead skin that is dulling your complexion. I think this product did a really great job of cleaning my face and getting deep inside my pores. It is a little rough on my skin, so you should definitely follow the recommended use of only once every three days. This is a pretty good sized sample, and I will definitely get quite a few uses out of it before it's gone. This has absolutely nothing to do with the theme, but I am happy it was included in this month's bag.

Margaret Dabbs London Miniature Crystal Nail File

$12.00    (Full Size!)

I wouldn't normally be too excited about receiving a nail file in a subscription box, but this one is something absolutely new for me. It is made out of glass, so it leaves a smoother, softer finish without tearing your finger nails apart or damaging them. This is a miniature to their full size, but really, it is the perfect size for me. I can throw this in my purse or overnight bag without it taking up much space. I am also really impressed on how well this worked. I started with pretty jagged nails, and this left them perfectly rounded and super soft and smooth. I really like this addition, and I will be using it many times to come.

BellaPierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Desert Rose

$45.00 - 0.32 oz    ($28.13 Value)

I am either a huge fan or not in love with the Bellapierre products I've received in the past. When I don't particularly love them, though, it is normally because it is a product that I wouldn't really use or a color that doesn't go well with my skin or my style. This, fortunately, is a product that I absolutely love. The pinkish, mauve looks great and natural on my skin. The mineral powder rests well, and it blends perfectly, making sure it doesn't create the clown effect. This is a more expensive item, and I can completely understand why. Also, this product is almost the size of the full item, so it will last forever. What a great item to receive in this month's bag. It is perfectly pink and ready for February.

theBalm Cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer

$24.00 - 0.3 oz    ($1.60 Value)

This month's bag is full of star brands. Dr. Brandt, Bellapierre, Trust Fund, and now, theBalm. I've seen this product popping up in so many people's subscription boxes, and I've always wanted to give it a try. This manizer acts as a highlighter, eye shadow, or powder for anywhere that you need shimmer. I really like this powder, and for me, it is the best highlighter. Most of the highlighters I own are creams, and they aren't as easy to use. Most of my other products are powders, so it just makes sense that my highlighter is the same way. I could also see myself using this as an eye shadow for those times that I want to keep my makeup light. This is a great sample, and I will use every little drop or speckle.

This is one of the best Ipsy bags I've ever received. I love every single product. That nail polish is perfect, the highlighter is that product I've been waiting for, the pore dermabrasion works really well, and the blush blends perfectly. Also, I really like that nail file. There isn't one item that I don't love. This is a first for my Ipsy bag. To top the cake, this has a value of $63.98, and that doesn't even include the value of the makeup bag. That is a really high value for a $10 bag. I guess I can say that the only thing I don't love is the makeup bag itself, but I will still be able to use it for travel.

If you would like to try Ipsy for yourself, just click here. It is a great way to treat a friend, relative, or even yourself.

BoxyCharm February 2016 Review - Rush to Relax

Yeah! My BoxyCharm has arrived for the month of February, and I can't wait to see what goodies this month has in store for me. BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that delivers at least four full size items for the price of $21. It tends to always have a value of over $100, which is absolutely crazy, and I don't understand how they do it. This is quickly becoming my favorite box to receive every month, because the products, value, and themes are always on point. I can't wait to see what this month is going to deliver. I hope it is full of romantic and lovely items.

The theme for list month's box is Rush to Relax. I can totally relate to this. Whether I am at work, running errands, or cleaning the house, I am always hoping it is over so I can just be home and do my own thing. I think it is important to spend sometime on yourself, and why not hurry up and get everything done so you can spend more time on things you enjoy. This card says from stilettos to slippers, so I hope these items will be products that I can use for a spa night in, or even items to speed up my makeup routine.

OFRA Cosmetics Pressed Banana Powder

$12.00 - 4 g    (Full Size!)

This product is pretty interesting to me. With a light banana scent, this powder can be used to cover under eye darkness, as an all over setting powder, or as a matte eye shadow. I don't think I will be using this as a eyeshadow, but I do love it as an under eye concealer and setting powder. It doesn't fully cover my dark circles, but it does mask them quite a bit. I really like this powder, and it does a great job of concealing my pinkish tones. Plus, I love bananas, so the scent is perfect. This product is held in a paper container, and it is used to throw in your magnetic palette, which is great if you have one, but unfortunately, I don't. So, this will just be hanging out in the paper packaging until it is gone. Otherwise, great product, and great addition to this month's box.

Shray Ms. Amazing Moisturizing Facial Mask

$12.00 - 1 mask    (Full Size!)

Sheet masks are everywhere lately, and I have been receiving them in my subscription boxes left and right. This one in particular is to help moisturize, but will help cure rugged and dull skin. To make it work best, apply this to clean skin and leave on for at least 10 minutes. Like all masks, you don't rinse off the product after taking off the mask, but instead rub it into your face and let it continue to work. This one will set like a moisturizer, but also makes a great makeup primer. I would normally use a sheet mask during a night in and right before bed, but this would be the perfect one to use before a special occasion, such as Valentine's Day. I will probably hold onto this for when my face needs an extra splash of moisture and is looking a little dull.

Spongelle You Have My Heart on a String Body Wash Buffer + Polish

$15.00 - 3 oz    (Full Size!)

I was so excited to see this item in this month's box, because I've had one before, and I absolutely loved it. This sponge is infused with body wash so you just get it wet and and the body wash releases as you use it. I also like this product, because it has a buffer side to help clean away dead and dull skin. This scent is much sweeter than my last one, which is perfect for Valentine's Day, and it reminds me of a luxurious spa. This is supposed to last for 14 plus uses, but my last one lasted me a couple of month's, so you can really get a lot of use from it. Again, I love this product, and I hope this isn't the last time I receive one.

Beauty for Real Blush + Glo Blush and Highlighter Duo in Coral Crush + Hi Beam

$24.00 - 9 g    (Full Size!)

This duo stick has a highlighter on one end and blush on another to create the perfect contouring multi-use beauty product. This cream formula also provides anti-aging benefits. The coral blush is a little mauve for me, but it is a natural color. I like that you can wear this on your cheeks, lips, eyes, or to contour your body. The highlighter is more of a bronzer on my skin. It is actually darker than my skin tone, so I could actually use it on the dark contours, but because it is so shimmery, it doesn't look very natural. The product itself is very nice, and it does a great job of blending and lasting, but those colors aren't great for my skin tone. I would like to try some of their other items.

Realtree for Her Travel Sprayer

$12.99 - 10 ml    (Full Size!)

I really enjoy receiving perfume in my subscription boxes, especially deluxe samples, but that is only if I really like the scent. I believe this brand is marketed for the outdoorsy, hunting type girl, which isn't me, but I am also no a huge fan of the scent. It has notes of pomegranate, persimmon, and orchids, but it reminds me of a cheap body spray that I used to own as a child. I really wish I enjoyed it, because it is the perfect size for travel and to use up before it's table life expires, but unfortunately, the scent just isn't for me.

Freeze 24-7 Anti Aging Eye Serum

$115.00 - 0.5 oz    ($58.00 Value)

This sample size product is still worth double the cost of this box, which is insane. This box normally sends out full size items, but since it has such a high value, and eye serum lasts forever, I am alight with this travel size. This serum takes care of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness. This does create a small film, which I don't love, but I am surprised by the results. The dark under my eyes has practically disappeared with one use, and I've also noticed other small improvements. Again, you can wear this underneath makeup, which isn't always the case with eye serums. I like that, because then I can apply it during the morning when I get ready, and not forget or be too tired to do it at night. This does work wonders, and I will definitely use it until it's gone.

Overall, I am pretty happy with this month's box. I love the sponge, banana powder, sheet mask, and eye serum. I really wish the blush and highlighter duo stick worked for me, because I really like that product and brand. The only thing that I'm really not excited about in this month's box is the perfume, but that is just because the scent isn't for me. Overall, this box has a value of $133.99. I know I say this every time, but that is insane.
