BoxyCharm September 2016 Review - Camp Glam

Yeah! My BoxyCharm has arrived for the month of September, and I, of course, am super excited to see what’s inside. BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription box that delivers at least four (but usually five!) full size beauty products to your door for only $21. This box always has a value over $100, which is crazy and great, so you’re definitely not wasting your money on this box. The products are always great too. They range from body, hair, nails, and makeup, so it is a great balance for every user. Also, they have the best themes, and the products surprisingly go along really well. Fall boxes are always the best, so I can’t wait to dig in.

You know what I just said about the themes being amazing. Well, this is the first time I don’t feel that way. The theme is Camp Glam. I think that is a little weird for September. First of all, summer camp is over, and everyone is back to school. Also, the weather is getting cooler, and the last thing I want to do is sleep outside when it’s cold at night. But, this does mention Glamping, so I’m thinking it could be glamorized, natural products, which I would love, but that would be a total stretch. This theme would be much better for summer, but we will see how well they do with it.

Project Beauty Hairgurt Smoothing Yogurt Hair Masque

$11.00 - 4 fl oz

First of all, this smells amazing! My favorite deserts always include strawberries and bananas, so this was absolutely perfect for me. Second, I find deep conditioner masques both super handy and a beauty must. My hair does tend to dry out and expose a lot of frizz every once in a while, so it is a great to have a quick fix to bring it back to life. Also, these dryer and cooler temps definitely do crazy things to my hair, so this deep conditioner came at a perfect time. I would suggest not using a lot, because the product is a little heavy, and will weigh down your hair, but that just means it will last that much longer. I think my idea about the theme may be right, because these are natural ingredients in beauty product. I am really happy with this first item!

butterLONDON Trend Nail Lacquer in Yummy Mummy

$15.00 - 0.4 fl oz

I used to say how much I hate nail polish in subscription boxes, but I guess I only really hate them when the color is terrible and not my style. This, on the other hand, is perfect for me. I love the nude, and the touch of shimmer gives it the little piece of glam. Also, this brand is great. I’d have to say, if I were to pick out a color that would fit into fall and camping perfectly (especially glamping) this would be the color I’d pick out. What a perfect product for this box, and I will definitely be wearing this throughout fall. Plus, it’s full size. What is better than that!!

PUR Cosmetics Lip Lure Hydrating Lip Lacquer in Belle

$22.00 - 0.05 oz

When I pick out lip colors, I have to make sure that there is a moisturizing element, otherwise my lips dry up like prunes. Therefore, I was stoked to see that word in the description. This is a product I’ve never seen before, which is why I love this box so much, but I am already a fan of the box. Since the packaging is white and no color was popping out, I wasn’t sure if this was basically just a lip moisturizer, but with a few clicks, the true color was exposed. It was a little fun surprise with the reveal to be honest. I wish I could do it again knowing color was going to pop out. The icing on the cake, this color is beautiful. It is a brownish red, and absolutely perfect for fall. I like the warmth this color leaves, and it will go so well with all my sweaters and scarfs. Plus, the moisture is real. I didn't even have to apply moisturizer between uses.

Studio Makeup "On-The-Go" Palette

$49.95

This is why I love BoxyCharm so much. I spent $21 on this box, and the value of this product alone is double that price. Not only is the value amazing, but this palette is beautiful. These naturals are all you'd ever need for a classic / natural look. Also, I like that you can go more beige, soft pink, or smokey, because there are so many choices. I absolutely love this palette, and I am really excited to play with the different looks. This pigmentation is great as well. You can really play it up an build colors to darken them, or leave them light with one layer. If I were to go "Glamping" this is the one shadow palette I would bring. It is really compact, and I would blend in perfectly with my environment. So beautiful.

Hikari Cosmetics Eye Liner in Raven

$13.00 - 0.01 oz

If I could never, ever receive another black eyeliner in any of my subscription boxes ever again, I would be so happy. It's not that I don't like black eyeliner, but I have so many of them. And since I rarely wear black eyeliner, it takes me absolutely forever to go through one single pencil. On the other hand, this is very nice, and the darkest black I think a cosmetic color could possibly be. Also, it glides without tugging, which makes it easy to get a good, clean line. I can't hate this too much, because it is a nice product, but I just don't need it. At all. This will probably be passed along to a friend or someone in my family.

Overall, I am really happy with this box. There are so many great items and new discoveries, and I will happily use every last one of these products. Actually, I can't wait. I wasn't too sure about this theme, but it actually worked well with the products, and they were all also great for fall. It is just the eyeliner, that I'm not too excited about. This month's box has a value of $110.95. That is absolutely crazy for a box I only spent $21. This is the first fall box of three, and it couldn't have gone any better. I can't wait for the next two.

Birchbox September 2016 Review - Go Forth and Multitask

Yeah! My Birchbox has arrived for the month of September, and I am so excited to see what is in store for me this month. Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that delivers at least five beauty samples (and sometimes full size products) to your door for only $10 a month. The items are curated to your profile and follow the monthly theme, so not only are you going to receive products that fit your routine, but you’ll also get a large variety of products. This is one of my favorite subscription boxes. The value isn’t outrageous, nor is it stocked full of trendy products, but I feel like they know me better than any other subscription, and they always deliver products that I love and have become staples in my beauty routine. Fall boxes are always the best, so I have high hopes for this box.

This month’s theme is Go Forth and Multitask. The theme is all about time saving products that will help us tackle our to-do list. I am all about that, because I feel like my beauty routine takes up too much time in my very busy day. This is a special month for Birchbox, as it first launched in September years ago, so they always turn it into a celebration. That describes this box. It is covered in what appears to be confetti, while the base counters the color with black hashtags and graffiti. I like this box, because it is so joyous, but it doesn’t go with my style, so I will be using this for storage. I would usually talk about points now, but Birchbox just took away their reward point system. That is a bummer, because they were easy to save, and I loved rewarding myself with full size products.

Beauty Protector Protect & Blonde Toning Shampoo

$23.00 - 8 oz    ($2.88 Value)

I do have strawberry blond hair, and sometimes the red is just too harsh on my complexion. Also, the chemical compounds in my water can really make it look brassy. This purple toning shampoo will solve both of these issues in one simple wash. I’ve tried toning shampoos before, and while they work, I hate using them that often. The particular brand I’ve purchased in the past didn’t have the best smell (and I had to smell it all day), and it really dried out my hair. This shampoo does the trick without the dryness and also has a wonderful, tropical scent. I really like this shampoo, but it is a little pricey. I would probably purchase this and use it once a week. Too bad I don’t have points that I can use.

$32.50 - 2 oz    ($8.13 Value)

I have so many products from this brand, and I have to say, I really love them all. This brand is known for being natural and organic, so I feel good about rubbing them on my skin. Also, they work really well. Especially their scrubs, my skin feel amazing and refreshed afterwards. This microdermabrasion scrub isn’t any different. My skin was feeling a little rough and dull, but this scrub gave it back a silky smooth texture and a new glow. Even though this is sample size, I am going to get quite a bit of uses out of this. Also, I really only need to use it once a week or so, which means I will use even less. I am really happy with this product. This is definitely turning out to be a great box.

$62.00 - 1.6 oz    ($1.94 Value)

I, unlike most everyone, love perfume samples. I can’t seem to give myself to an entire bottle of fragrance, and I like to change it up (A LOT), so these samples sizes are truly perfect for me. This scent in particular is really fun and smells great. It has notes of mandarin, apricot, and sandalwood, which create a warm and energetic scent that makes you feel like you’re on an island drinking a pina colada. While this scent is great, and I do like it a lot, the timing is weird. We are going into fall, we are nowhere close to spring and summer anymore, and all my tropical vacations and days next to the ocean have escaped me and are a distant memory. Right now, I am looking to wear darker and warmer scents to match my sweaters ultimately. I do like this scent, but as you know I won’t purchase this full size, but I am more interested in wearing warm vanillas or snappy citrus this time of year. I will save this for those afternoons on the beach.

$16.00 - 3.38 oz    ($3.79 Value)

It is going to be weird when I tell you this, but I do not have a product that is solely for removing makeup. Now that I’ve admitted to that, I really don’t know how I’ve gone this long without it. I have your typical micellar water and makeup removal wipes, but sometimes they just don’t want to get rid of that waterproof mascara and no-budge eyeliner. I always have to “wear” eyeliner at least two days in a row, because it will just not go away. This formula works wonders removing all of that and more. Plus, I don’t have to tug, which creates wrinkles. This is another sample that will last me forever, because you don’t really have to use all that much, but I wouldn’t exactly call this multitasking, since it is pretty specific. Great product, though.

$24.00 - 1 oz    ($2.40 Value)

This “was” the sample choice for the month, but I, for the first time yet, forgot to pick it out, and I was basically left with whatever no one else wanted. I was going to pick out the tinted lip color from this brand, but it’s my own fault. I don’t use highlighters that often, which is why I wouldn’t have picked this out, but now that I have it, I am pretty excited to use it. The color, even though a little too dark to be used as a highlighter with my skin tone, is very beautiful, and the shimmer is perfect. Also, this tube is so easy to use, and I much prefer blending with my fingers afterwards than with the typical brush I’d use with the liquid highlighters I’ve used in the past. I may still be a little bummed about not getting that lip color, but this highlighter is a great alternative. Sometimes it pays to move outside your comfort zone.

Overall, I am really happy with this month’s box, but then again, I am always really happy. That scrub and shampoo is great, and the eye makeup remover and highlighter will now become permanent products in my beauty routine. I even really like the perfume, but the season is just a little off. I will hold onto it until then. I just realized, this box is supposed to take time out of my beauty routine, and I just added two steps instead. Oh, well. This month’s box has a value of $19.14. That is not great, but I’m still happy with that amount since I loved all the products so much. It really is the value of the products and not the dollar value when it comes to this box. I am already looking forward to October!

PopSugar Must Have September 2016 Review

Yeah! My PopSugar Must Have box has arrived for the month of September, and pretty early too. This subscription box delivers the most trendy and coolest products in beauty, fashion, home, fitness, books, and food. It costs $39.95 a month, and always has a value of $100. I've found some great discoveries in this box, and I hope this box has more in store for me this month. Fall is finally here, and I look forward to these season's boxes more than anything other time of the year so I can't wait to see what is inside.

This subscription doesn't exactly have a theme, but instead words of inspiration. This month's inspirational words are Glamorous, Eye-catching, Indulgent, Bold, Timeless, Sartorial. This box sounds so fun to me. It mentions timeless and sartorial, so I am expecting classic pieces like red lipstick or a pearl necklace. It also says glamorous, eye-catching, and bold, so I think there might be a fashion item that is both trending but also probably a little brave to wear. I have a feeling the indulgent item is chocolate, and all I really want is something healthy. I guess we will see.

Jack & Lucy Bicoastal Wide Brim Hat

$58.00

I feel like I could have predicted something this great, fashionable, and bold from those inspirational words, but I just didn't expect to find this hat in this month's box. I've never purchased a hat like this before, even though I find them really cute and fashionable, because I didn't think I could pull it off, but now that I have one, I will have to try it out. This hat is really cute, and perfect for fall. It is a great way to cover up that second day hair, but also stay sheik and cool. I think this will be my go to weekend hat all fall. Also, it stays sunny here until November, so this will also protect me and my hair from those damaging rays. I am really excited about this product, and I can't wait for the perfect occasion to wear such a piece. PopSugar, you did it again.

$16.00

This is something that I would have expected from the last box, as organization was one of their biggest themes, but this is still very cute and handy. The compact itself seems to be very high quality and will hold up well in a purse or travel bag. Also, there are more tools inside this kit than I am used to using, so not only is this very convenient, but it will also come in handy when I want to give myself the most perfect manicure. I am not sure how this goes with the theme, except maybe being a classic product, but it is very practical and will help me look put together, even on the run.

$36.00 - 8 oz

I have actually received a sample of this product before in the past, and I was very sad to use up the last little glop, because I loved it so much, so I am really happy to own the full size tub. This deep conditioner not only smells great, but it works really well too. Also, this tub is huge, and I don’t really have to use all the much, so this will last me forever. It did leave my hair just a little greasier than normal, so I would suggest only using this once a week for fine hair, but girls with dry or thick hair, I bet they could use this every other day. I am happy to have this, especially during these dry, cold months. What a great addition this this box.

$9.99

At first, I wasn’t too thrilled about this product. I just didn’t know why Popsugar would add something so basic and boring in their monthly box, but even after one use, I understood the draw to this lint roller. Since it is retractable, it can literally be stored anywhere. This would be great for travel, for everyday use in your purse, or even in a drawer without picking up all the lint and dust and wasting a sheet. Also, this lint roller worked really well. It pulled everything off my shirt, including dog hair, and only took one sheet. This product will keep my looking dapper and sartorial for sure, so really, it is a great fit for this month’s box. I also already looked. Refills only cost $3 for 60 sheets. Not too bad.

$22.00 - 0.16 fl oz

I had a feeling we would be receiving red lipstick, because what is more classic than that. But this is more than just your classic red. It goes perfectly with the bold and glamour themes, because this color creates a trendy wet effect, but contains a dash of glitter to really get those lips popping. I have to say, this really isn’t my style. I much prefer the classic/matte red lipstick, and the glitter isn’t for me. I do like the formula, though, and it is ultra long lasting. The packaging is really cute too. At first, I thought it arrived damaged, but that is the style. This is a great addition to this month’s box, and it fits really well with the themes, but unfortunately is just isn’t for me.

$4.99 - 4 oz

I had a feeling there would be another chocolate product in this month’s box, and what do you know, here is yet again another chocolate food. I don’t really care for chocolate to begin with, but dark chocolate just isn’t for me. Also, I don’t like coconut as well. In other words, there really couldn’t be a worst product for me. My boyfriend, on the other hand, really enjoyed these, so that is nice. Also, I like that they are gluten free for anyone with allergies. But seriously, why can’t Popsugar just grant my wishes and deliver a healthy food item. Maybe next month. Fingers crossed.

Overall, I am really smitten with this box. Two of the products aren’t for me, but I can see a lot of girls really enjoying them, and it is just my taste, so I’d hate to discredit them from this box. I love the hat so much and plan on wearing it everywhere. Also, that deep conditioner is one of my favorites. The lint roller and nail kit will keep me looking my best all fall, too. The lip color is perfect for this theme, but just not my favorite, and unfortunately, I just don’t have a taste for the food item. This month’s box has a value of ??? That is amazing for a $40 box. PopSugar, this fall box rocked my socks, and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for me! October is right around the corner.

Ipsy Glambag September 2016 Review - Glamazon

Yeah! My Ipsy Glambag has arrived for the month of September, and I am really excited to see what is inside. Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription box that delivers at least five full size and sample size products to your door in a theme designed makeup bag for only $10. The value is usually three or four times greater than the cost, so it is really worth the money. I also think it's a great way to try out a ton of great brands and products for a very affordable price. Fall subscription boxes are always my favorite, so I have high hopes for the products inside.

This month's theme is Glamazon. It quotes, "Too glam to give a damn." I don't really understand this theme, except these items will be glamorous. Ipsy doesn't really have the best themes, and they rarely go along with the products, but I do like that the makeup bag is designed for the theme. This makeup bag is pretty cute. I do like that it spells out Ipsy with the girl's arms, and the colors I guess are Amazonian. Personally, I think this tan and shimmer is perfect for fall, and this bag seems just a little more durable than others. Hopefully the items inside will still be winners.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara in Super Black

$24.00 - 0.304 fl oz    ($13.42 Value)

I am not exactly the biggest IT Cosmetics fan, but I do enjoy trying out different mascara brands and formulas. Plus, these sample sizes are great, because you can use up the entire product before the shelf life expires. Within one application, this mascara is surprisingly great. I can already see definition, length, and curl. With a few more layers, I was already at my ideal lash look, and I didn’t even have to layer a different mascara on top or underneath. I am really happy with this mascara, and I would definitely purchase it in the future. But knowing all my subscription boxes, I won’t have to do that anytime soon.

$25.00 - 3.25 oz    ($6.92 Value)

This body scrub is so great. First off, it feels so natural. I love seeing real ingredients, which also makes me feel good about applying them to my body. Second, this smells amazing. The vanilla is so soft and comforting, while the almond is warm and luxurious. It seriously feels like a spa in my shower. Third, this works really well. My skin was super soft after using this, and felt renewed but not dry and itchy. I think this could possibly be the best item in this month’s bag, and really is perfect for me, but I would rather receiving this during the summer months when I am baring more skin. Anyway, I will use it up for sure. This container is really cute too, and I will have to reuse it for something.

$25.00 - 1.5 oz    ($8.33 Value)

When I first saw mask, my eyes lit up. I absolutely love face masks, and I apply them at least twice a week, but then I realized that this isn’t your typical face mask. This formula is ultra-moisturizing, and is for use with super dry skin when you need a surge of hydration. This product did slowly grow on me. I applied it to freshly washed skin, and this felt like a face moisturizer that just doesn’t rub in. After the recommended 10 minutes, I wiped off the excess product with a wet cloth, and my skin felt completely moisturized. I didn’t even have to use an additional face moisturizer afterwards. Since it is only September, and the temperature hasn’t fallen that much, I am going to save this for those harsh winter days when my skin is absolutely parched. I will be happy to have this product on hand when that time comes.

$5.95

I love / hate this product. First of all, it is such a beautiful smudge brush. The quality is so great for such an affordable price, and the brush itself looks great. I love the soft rounded edges and the color is great as well. The bristles are full and soft, basically everything I’d want from a brush. So you’re probably wonder, how could I hate this then? This is probably the fifth smudge brush Ipsy has sent me in two years. They are great, yes, and I do use them regularly, yes, but they are also long lasting, and there is no reason I need that many. I guess it is nice to not have to wash them as often as normal, but I would much prefer a different type of brush or beauty tool than the same smudge brush over and over. I think I will hold onto this one, and use it once I’ve lost the others, or they’ve run their course.

$34.00 - 0.21 oz    ($6.48 Value)

I have been looking for a quick, easy, yet beautiful highlighter over the last few weeks, so this product could not have come at a better time. This color is just a tad lighter than my natural skin color, which is perfect for a natural highlight. Also, it is so beautiful on. It blends in really well, and it catches just the right amount of light without being too shimmery. I’ve tried other highlighters before, but they’ve been white or much whiter, and they just don’t blend into my skin as well, and look very unnatural. I can see someone using these for a full contour, but I was always hoping for something a little more simplified. I am really happy with this product, and while it isn’t a full size, this will last forever. Icing on the cake, this brand always has the best packaging, and I love seeing their products in my makeup bag. They always make me smile.

Overall, I am pretty happy with this box. It wasn’t as great as last month, but it is much better than the month’s previous. That highlight stick and mascara is so great, and these could easily become staples in my beauty routine. I am also a fan of the scrub. This easily changes my shower into a spa. The moisture mask is nice, but I just don’t need it at this time, so I will keep it around for cooler months. That smudge brush is really great, but I am just tired of Ipsy sending me the same type of brush over and over. They must keep record of this, right?! The theme and bag could be a little better as well, but I already have so many cute bags, I really don’t care about not loving this one. This month’s subscription has a value of $41.10. That is absolutely crazy for a $10 subscription, and that isn’t even counting the value of the makeup bag. One thing Ipsy always has going for itself is the value, so I can never really be unhappy about that.

Sephora Play! August 2016 Review - The Eye Openers

My Sephora Play! box has arrived for the month of August, and I am really excited to see what is in store for me this month. Sephora Play! is a monthly subscription box that delivers samples of beauty products sold at Sephora. This reminds me of a cross between Target Beauty box and Birchbox, because it does deliver higher end products, but only items that can be bought in store. It only costs $10 a month, which is such a reasonable price, and delivers at least six samples, which is one more than your average box. I like Sephora, because I get to try out so many great products without spending money on the full size item before I know I love it.

This month's theme is The Eye Openers. It is all about products that are more than meet the eye and will put all eyes on you. I think this is a cute theme, and I am looking forward to seeing what products work with this theme. I believe that this box will come with products that are more than what you'd expect. Like a multi use power, for example, or maybe a multi-use cream that is also all natural. I have a feeling there will be a few products that are used solely for your eyes as well, but I really don't want it to be a eye only box.

This subscription also comes with a cute carry all bag along with the products. These aren't the best quality, but they are really fun, and also really practical. I think these are great for organizing, travel, or gifting. That's good news, because I will get a new one every month.

$55.00 - 1.69 oz    ($5.21 Value)

This product is really a do all miracle gel. It is not just your basic moisturizer, but it also helps with dullness and uneven texture with bounce and glow. I have a five step nice skincare routine at night, so being able to take a few of these steps away with this one product. I am also amazed at how well it worked. This fully moisturized my skin, but it also left it glowing and more beautiful than normal. The gel also feels nice and cooling during this late summer month. I am loving this product, and I can see why Sephora added it in this month's box, but unfortunately, I don't think I will be purchasing this product, because it is a little out of my price range. I will just enjoy the heck out of this sample instead.

$62.00 - 0.5 oz    ($19.84 Value)

I had a feeling we would be receiving some eye products in this month's box, and this is a great addition. I use eye creams every single night, as I do have soft wrinkles and dark spots around that area. This balm promises to lift and smooth the areas around your eyes and mouth. I like that they include that in the description, because I would have never thought to use this around my mouth, even though I am noticing the same problems around there. I am really happy with this product, and even though it is a sample, I know that it will last a while, since i use so little each time. I can't wait to see the results.

$21.00 - 0.07 oz    ($6.00 Value)

First of all, this shade is absolutely beautiful. It's a champagne pink with some soft shimmer and looks so wonderful against my skin color. Second, the pigmentation is perfect. It starts medium, but you can build it up or smudge it out for a more subtle look. Also, I know this is just a sample size, but this packaging is quite nice. It is easy to get to, and the snap seal makes it easy to travel with or throw in your makeup bag. I am a fan of this product, and I would love trying out other colors from the line. In the meantime, I will get full use out of this.

$10.00 - 0.04 oz    ($4.25 Value)

I am not a fan of black eyeliner. I have my fair share, but the color is so harsh on my eyes, and I prefer much softer looks. This taupe is absolutely perfect for me. It's not as dark as black, but instead a grey slate, that both darkens and defines my eyes without looking goth. This eyeliner draws nicely without tugging, and stays put as well. I am really happy with this eyeliner, but since I don't use it that often, this sample will last me much longer than I could ask, so I will never have to purchase another.

$22.00 - 0.4 oz    ($5.50 Value)

I've tried this mascara before, and boy do I love it. There are some mascara's that I keep coming back to, and this is definitely one of those. It makes my eyelashes full, long, and slightly curled for the perfect mascara look. Also, this sample to me is the perfect size. You are supposed to replace it every six months, and the larger tubes tend to need replacing before they run out. Also, this is great for travel, which I will be doing a lot of before the year is over. I am really excited to see this sample in this box, and will definitely open it up once my other mascara runs out.

$90.00 - 3.4 oz    ($1.32 Value)

I have never really enjoyed the scent of any of the products from this brand, but that is because they are usually cotton and powdery. This perfume is actually not like any of their products I've smelled in the past. Instead of powdery cotton, this is more flowery and heavy with notes of rose, peony, jasmine, cedar wood, sandalwood, and musk. I really like the musk mixed with the flower, and it is the perfect blend for late summer. I am going to be wearing this to fun late summer events such as bomb fires, outdoor drinks, and drive-in movies. It is the perfect scent for the transition into fall.

Overall, this is a great box. I love the mixture of both skincare and makeup products and even a scent. There isn't a single product that I don't like and won't use, which is really rare for me. Also, there are some high end products mixed in with much more affordable brands, so it does really appeal to every buyer. This month's box has a value of $42.12, which is amazing for a $10 box. Really though, I don't care much about value if I don't like the products, so since I love these, the value is another win.

If you would like to try Sephora Play! for yourself just click here. It is a great way to try out a ton of products at a great price.

PopSugar Must Have August 2016 Review

Yeah! My PopSugar Must Have box has arrived for the month of August, and pretty early too. This subscription box delivers the most trendy and coolest products in beauty, fashion, home, fitness, books, and food. It costs $39.95 a month, and always has a value of $100. I've found some great discoveries in this box, and I hope this box has more in store for me this month. I am not usually a fan of summer boxes, but maybe this one will surprise me since it is so close to fall. I can't wait to see what is inside.

PopSugar doesn't exactly have a monthly theme, but instead they have words of inspiration. This month's inspirations are Motivation, Organization, Order, Fresh, Transition, and Back-to-school. If I could create a box on my own, I would use these exact words except back-to-school, as I am not longer a student. I love fresh starts and organization, which I always associate with fall, so I feel this box is already going to be amazing. Also, I am intrigued with motivation. We haven't seen a fitness item since the yoga mat, so I am hoping for something that will get me off my butt and excited to work out again.

Cargo Cosmetics Powder Blush in The Big Easy

$26.00 - 0.31 oz

OMG! I am really excited about this beauty product. First of all, I love Cargo. I’ve received so many of their samples in the past that are really full size items to me, but not when look at the size of this product. That brings me to number two, this case is huge. I seriously could wear this blush every day for the rest of my life and never run out. Third, this color is so beautiful. The light pink with a touch or orange would look great on every skin tone, including mine. Everything about this brand is great. Their colors are beautiful and on trend, their packaging is so cute and industrial (This could ride around in my makeup bag with no worries of opening or breaking), and the pigmentation is perfect. It is that medium amount of color that can build up or leave sheer for a more simplified look. This pink is the perfect color to bring us into fall from summer, and I will be wearing it all the way to spring. Such a great product. I am really impressed.

$ 3.99 - 6 oz

The first thing I noticed about this product is the size. This is a full, larger than a bag of potato chips, bag of popcorn, which also takes up most the space of this month’s PopSugar box. That is a little bit of a bummer that the food product is the largest item, but I guess I understand why. The size really is a blessing in disguise, though, because these are so delicious. I love both popcorn and cookies & cream, but I never thought to put them together. Someone knew what they were doing, because these are amazing. The sweet works so well with the salty popcorn, and the chocolate adds just the right amount of bitter. This is a bag of desert, but I really don’t love eating so much sugar. I am waiting for PopSugar to start sending out some healthier products. Why always sweets? I will be happy to eat this entire bag in the meantime, though.

When I saw the themes for this month, I was really excited about the organization, order, and fresh inspirations the most, but I am just not too excited about this product. While this is something really cute and fun, I am not really into these. I do appreciate how they go with the theme, and they feel perfect for back to school. Also they would be really convenient if you can keep them clean and you do wipe your screen often for smudges. That being said, I think that if I were to stick these on the backside of my phone, they would get really dirty really fast. I put my phone down on tables, throw it in my messy purse, and even on bathroom sinks. Plus, when I do want to wipe my screen, I do it with antibacterial wipes that also clear it from smudges. Also, these designs aren’t really my style and would definitely not go with my phone case. I hate to not like this product, because they are pretty cute, but unfortunately, this product just isn’t for me.

These kind of items is why I love PopSugar so freaking much. This bag is not only great quality and really cute, but it is also super handy and usable. I think this would be a great bag for your lap top, books, or any back to school purpose. If you aren’t a student, this would be a great as a carry on, to bring with you to game day, or even to the coffee shop for those pumpkin spiced lattes and a book. This cheetah print isn’t my favorite, and wouldn’t really be my go to, but I do like it a lot, and I think it’s a great pattern for fall. The choices of straps are great too, as they allow you to hold it closer or farther as is comfortable. I think I will use this now as a carry all when I leave the house, but I think this will also be great for trips to the park with my dog as well. I now want this in every color.

$30.00

I think this is another item that every single person could use, as it is universal, and everyone is running digital devices these days. I actually already have a charger like this, but I call it “the brick” for good reason, so I only carry it with me to events or for travel. While this isn’t exactly light for its size, it is much smaller than the one I have, and it is pretty cute too. I wouldn’t mind carry this around with me everywhere. And boy does it work. It charged my iphone just as fast as the wall charger would, and it was so nice to have backup during a fun day festival where I was using a lot of battery for social media. I am really smitten with this product, but it is kind of a bummer I spent so much on the previous “brick,” but now I have two!

$13.00

Once again, I am pretty impressed with this product. It goes along with the theme perfectly, and this can be used at your school/dorm, in the office, or even at home. The booklet itself is super pretty, and would look great in your purse or on the counter. Also, the post it colors are really fun and modern. No more pastel, boring colors for me. I do think that this may be too pretty to use though. I am the kind of person that wants to keep nice things nice, so I am afraid I won’t use this as much as I’d like, but I try to break that wall. Since the post it’s I get from work are free, I think I will keep this in my purse for fun notes to friends or maybe little reminders for grocery lists. If only I kept some of my gel pens from the early 2000's to use on the black post it.

Overall, I am mostly happy with this box. I love that bag, and I think it is the perfect color for fall. That blush is from one of my favorite brands and is such a beautiful color. The post-it notes are fun, and that charger will come in handy, but it's a bummer that I already own one. The popcorn is good, but I am always looking for healthier options. Those screen wipes aren't for me, because I don't like the style or the product really. This month's box has a value of $104.98, which is actually pretty low for this box, but still great since I only spent $39.95 on this box. Fall is coming up next, and I usually love those boxes, so I can't wait to see what they have in store for me then.
