Target Beauty Box December 2017 Review - Hello Holidays

Yea! My Target Beauty Box has arrived for the month of December, and since the holidays are here, I always feel like these boxes are a little extra special. Target Beauty Boxes aren't exactly subscription boxes, because you have to purchase them each separately, but like beauty subscription boxes, they deliver full size and sample size products to your door around a theme. These boxes cost anywhere from $5 to $10, but recently, they've been $7, just like this one.

This month's theme is "Hello Holidays." I love that this is a holiday box, because nothing get's me more excited than holiday themed boxes and products. Since it is the holiday's I welcome any product that will either cut down on time, help me relax, or get dolled up. There are so many events that come with this season, so some great makeup products would be well appreciated, but also products to unwind afterwards or help get ready would be great too. Let's check them all out.

HASK Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner

$1.99 - 1.75 oz    (Full Size!)

These foil packets may seem like a one use sample, but instead this is the full size, multi-use item. I've received this same item in quite a few of my boxes, but I welcome them all with open arms. Once in a while, I really need to give my hair some extra love, and this product heal and replenishes while it conditions. Also, I can easily get four uses from this pack, so this will last me an entire month if I use it once a week. This is a great way to relax your hair after a bunch of styling, so I will be using this right into the new year.

Rimmel Shake It Fresh Mascara in Extreme Black

$5.99 - 0.30 oz    (Full Size!)

This new take on a classic product is quite intriguing, and I am excited to be on the beginning end of what could possibly be a new trend. I am always dealing with buildup at the end of my mascara tube and on the brush, which translates into clumped lashes, but this shake it fresh system allows each use to be as good as the first. I am excited to try out this product, but I am even more excited about the full size item. Just this item alone is a dollar short of the cost of the entire box. Two full size items is a great start!

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure

$5.99 - 30 count

It was a strong start for me with two full size items I will most definitely use, but this is one that is just not for me. I haven't worn false nails since I was in middle school, and I'm not about to jump back on that bandwagon. For those people who will use this item, these are really fun. The patterns are super on trend, and I love how there are so many different styles that can mix and match. Plus, with over 30 nails, you are going to be able to find the perfect fit. This is a bust for me, but I still think it's a great addition to the box.

Nexxus Comb Thru Volume Finishing Mist Spray

$8.19 - 10 oz    ($1.23 Value)

I often shy away from using hair spray, because it leaves my hair stiff, crunchy, and unmanageable. Instead, I would just let my curls fall within a few hours. This comb thru finishing mist is the perfect resolution. It holds your style while still allowing it to stay soft and manageable. This doesn't work perfectly, because you still get a little stiffness, but it is so much better than hair spray I've use in the past. Plus, this is great for travel, which I do a lot of this time of year. I am glad to have more of this in supply.

Vera Wang Embrace Marigold and Gardenia Perfume

$29.99 - 1 fl oz    ($1.20 Value)

I have been on the Vera Wang bandwagon ever since I discovered her style, but I've never had a change to sample her perfume. I love receiving perfume samples in my subscription boxes, because I love mixing up my scent by my mood, the season, and the event. This perfume has notes of marigold and gardenia, which gives it a feminine and flowery scent. This isn't usually the first thing I look for in perfume, but I really like this. While I don't think this is holiday ready, this would be perfect for spring. I could see myself wearing this to any shower or a relaxing Sunday stroll.

My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Mask

$12.99 - 10 ct    ($1.30 Value)

It wouldn't be a holiday box without a sheet mask to revitalize your skin, and this product will do just that. This one includes ingredients like lemon, red algae, and yeast proteins, which will give you brighter, fairer, and softer skin. This is definitely made for another country, because I don't think the average american is interested in fairer skin, but I am still interested in this to brighten and soften. Maybe Target shouldn't have included this for it's large market with a range of skin tones. It's just not right.

Chapstick Total Hydration Moisture + Tint in House Red

$4.99 - 0.12 oz    (Full Size!)

Yes! I am a huge fan of these tinted chapsticks, and I have yet to own a classic red, so this is absolutely perfect for me. I love wearing color on my lips, but they get so dry, so I end up with uneven color on cracked lips. These allow me to wear color while still hydrating my lips. I have some fun colors already, but this classic red will be the first color I reach for during all of these holiday events. It's a color that pairs perfectly with any black dress or New Year's Eve outfit. Plus, it's another full size product!

Overall, I am pretty happy with this month's box. The tinted lip moisturizer may be my favorite item, but the mascara and comb through spray are great as well. I love the other practical items such as the deep conditioner and perfume, but false nails weren't for me, and the mask left a bad taste in my mouth. This month's box has a value of $22.69. I was actually expecting more with all the full size items, but it is still really great. Especially since this box only cost $7. I can't wait to see what next month has in store.

If you are interested in Target Beauty Box, just keep an eye on their website during the first Monday of the month. Be sure to purchase them when they go on sale, because they tend to sell out.

Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 Review

Yea! My Walmart Beauty Box has arrived for the fall season and IT. WAS. LATE. These usually arrive sometime late September or early October, but this arrived in December. That is when the winter box normally arrives. Even so, I am excited that it is finally here, and I can't wait to dig into everything inside. Walmart Beauty Box delivers a variety of full size, travel size, and foil samples to your door for only $5 shipping. These never have amazing value, but I love trying out new products at affordable prices.

While these boxes never have a theme, they deliver products perfect for the season and items that are good for all year round. Since we are into winter, and this is a fall box, I am hoping that most of these products would be great anytime of the year, but even if they are curated to fall, I think they can easily transition into winter. Let's check out everything inside.

$2.50 - 0.35    (Full Size!)

I love products that work while you sleep, and this sleeping mask does just that. While it acts more like a moisturizer, this mask goes on like a night cream, but instead of soaking into skin, it leaves a light layer on your face that helps hydrate and replenish skin while you sleep. Just rinse it off in the morning. I really like this product, and I've gotten five uses out of this packet, so it is all around a win.

$9.97 - 13 fl oz & 11.97 - 12 oz    ($1.46 Value)

While I don't have curly hair, I know these products have to attract a wide demographic, so I am alright with items like this. I do love Shea Moisture products, though, because of their conscious ingredients, and I am sure this shampoo will still work great with my hair. My hair definitely had a little more texture with this product, and I like how it cleaned well while leaving a light scent. I don't think I will be purchasing this product, but it was nice to try, and this larger travel bottle is a great size to pack for longer weekend trips.

$4.88 - 4.2 oz    ($0.99 Value)

This isn't my first experience with Hello toothpaste, and I have to say, it just isn't for me. I switched from my normal Crest to this organic product, and my teeth started to ache. I feel like they just didn't clean as well as your typical toothpaste. Since this is travel size, I may bring it with my for a weekend trip, but I will never use this toothpaste long-term again. I do like that they are including all natural products in their boxes, though.

$7.86 - 10 oz    ($1.18 Value)

I rarely use hairspray, and when I do, it is usually for a wedding or event that takes me on the road. This travel size is perfect for packing up whether it be for an overnight bag or a longer weekend trip. I don't particularly like the strong hold. It leaves my hair crispy and unmanageable, but this would be ideal for a tight updo. This will be good to have once the need arises.

$0.97 - 12 count    (Full Size!)

While this isn't exactly an exciting product, it is so practical, and the travel case is something I never knew I needed. I use these flossers every day at home, but there have been so many times that I've needed to floss at work or on the go, and I didn't have any on me. This floss kit fits easily in my purse, and I can refill from my larger pack anytime I run out. I will be happy to have these when I am traveling too. This may sound silly, but this is my favorite discovery from the box.

$4.97 - 5.5 oz    ($0.68 Value)

I've always thought of Gold Bond as an older man's brand, but I am really impressed with this product. I always have hand cream with me: in my purse, at work, by my bed, so I welcome this product with open arms. Unlike most creams, this is light and airy yet quenches my skin. It also smells really nice too. Not perfumey, but fresh and clean. This is another great discovery from this season's box, and I would even consider purchasing the full size version. I will happily use this travel size bottle until then.

$14.95 - 1.8 fl oz    ($1.32 Value)

I do love receiving perfume samples in my subscription boxes, because I love changing up my scent by my mood, the season, or the event, so I love having a ton of options. One signature scent can get so boring. This scent duo is on the cheaper side, and while it probably won't be something I reach for right away, I love the concept. These two fragrances can be worn alone or together for a completely new scent. I wouldn't think these two perfumes would smell good together, but they compliment each other well. I'm truly surprised. Also, these are larger samples, so you'll really get a lot of use out of these.

$5.48 - 13.5 oz & $7.99 - 16.9 oz    ($0.20 Value)

I am a hardcore fan of in shower body lotions, because they work really well, and they cut down my nightly routine, so even though this is a foil sample, I am happy to have more at my disposeur. Your skin allows more moisturizer to soak into skin when it is wet, so it not only cuts down on time, but it works better. I've only ever tried unscented or the classic scent, so I am excited to see how long a scented product will work. Also, I really hate traveling with foil packets, but this would be great for a weekend trip, especially since you wouldn't have to pack your body lotion as well.

$24.93 - 1.7 oz    ($0.29 Value)

This is yet another foil sample, and really a one time use product, but I am excited to try it out. I normally don't spend too much extra on my facial moisturizers, but I do love trying out these luxe products. This promises to hydrate while it corrects tone and evens out redness and dark spots. I am really not able to see the product work with only one use, but I love how it feels like silk on my skin. I will say it hydrated nicely too.

Overall, this is a pretty good box. I love that there are so many travel items that I can hold onto until my next trip, and there were a few products that I've never tried before and really enjoyed. the hand cream, sleeping mask, and travel floss kit were my favorites, while I am not too happy about zero makeup products, there were two full size items in this box. This box has a value of $9.59, but that is only going off the value of the product from the full size item, and not the value of the travel sized product. Either way, a $10 value is just alright, but since this box only cost $5, I am not too worried about that. I am excited to see what's inside the winter box. I hope it's not delayed too.

Target 12 Days of Beauty 2017 Review

Yea! My Target Beauty Advent Calendar has arrived, and since I love the one from last year, I cannot wait to open each tab as a countdown to Christmas. I love how everyone is getting into the advent calendar game, and this beauty centric one from Target is one of the best. The holidays are always so special, but it is hard to wait for the big day, so these calendars are a great way to give yourself a little treat the twelve days before the big one, but they will also help you prepare, relax, and enjoy the holidays as well. I can’t wait to open each door, and it will be hard to stop at one.

Day 1: Jet Set
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Blackest Black

$4.49 - 0.43 oz    ($1.57 Value)

Finally, Day 1 is here, and I am just so excited to start this adventure. The excitement quickly dwindled once I opened the door, but a bit of nostalgia hit instead. This is the mascara I grew up using, as it was the mascara my mother used to use (and probably still uses). If you want a basic mascara that adds a touch of color and a little volume, this is for you. As for me, I’ve grown out of this classic mascara and have upgraded to better wands and formulas. This is great for travel, though, and it just might be traveling to my mom’s so I can hand them off to her.

Day 2: Mistletoe Magic
e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator in Mint Maniac

$3.00 - 0.11 oz    (Full Size!)

While this is a cheaper brand, this is a full size item, and one I am really excited to try. My lips get really rough, especially during these dry, winter months, and while I do already own a lip scrub, I don’t use it as much as I’d like, because it isn’t something you can just apply on the go. This moisturizing tube exfoliator is exactly what I needed. Not only does it exfoliate your lips, but the grain dissoves and leaves your lips soft and moisturized. This could easily be traded out for my chapstick all winter. I love this product.

Day 3: Frizz Fix
HASK Argan Oil Healing Shine Hair Treatment

$1.99 - 18 ml    (Full Size!)

Day 3 is kind of a bust for me. While it is a great product, and would be a nice way to refresh during these busy holiday weeks, hair oil is just not for me. My hair is quite thin and flat, but also quite healthy, so hair oil would only weigh it down. I will say, it is a dry oil, so it won’t leave your hair looking wet, and this would be great to use if you struggle with frizz or lack of moisture. I may just use it on my ends the night before a wash. I know that really helps give hair that shine.

Day 4: Pick-Me-Up
ACURE Eye Cream

$9.59 - 1.0 oz    (Full Size!)

Thanks to Target and their beauty boxes, I am a huge fan of ACURE. They pack their products with the best ingredients, and they are simple yet work well. This eye cream does not differ. It is the perfect consistency to moisturize and replenish, and I even noticed my under eyes brightening up. Plus, this is a full size (and quite large) bottle, so this will last forever. What a great way to mask those dark circles you accumulate with a lack of sleep.

Day 5: Instant Glow
Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic

$15.00 - 3.4 fl oz    ($2.21 Value)

This is enough cheap brand that I normally skip over, but I have only heard rave reviews about this item, so I am excited to give it a try. Illuminators have been the hit of 2017, so it just makes since that I end the year by adding another to my collection. I’ve tried their foundation before, and it had literal glitter in it (seriously!), but this tonic has grown up a bit. It leaves your skin full of light and shine, and it even shows up well underneath your makeup. It is healthy for your skin too, and it heals while it works. I really love this product, and I would be interested in picking up the full size bottle.

Day 6: Skin Saver
Vichy Mineral 89 Face Moisturizer

$29.99 - 1.69 oz    ($3.00 Value)

While I have seen this brand around for a while, I have never tried any of their products, so I was excited to open this on Day 6. I expected this face moisturizer to be a cream formula like typical, but instead it is a serum. I wasn’t sure how well this would hydrate my skin, especially during the months it needs moisture the most, but it did a great job. It also heals and replenishes skin at the same time. I think this would be great for night, but it is light enough to wear under makeup. I am glad I got to try out this sample, because I don’t know if I could pay $30 for the full size bottle.

Day 7: Photo Ready
NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick in Lavender Lust

$7.99 - 0.21 oz    (Full Size!)

For some reason, I was excited about the teaser “Photo Ready,” because I was hoping for some great skincare or blemish covering makeup, but instead it is a lavender highlighter. I guess I shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, because this color swatches beautifully. It give your face a tint of pinkish purple without looking too bazar. While I don’t like cream color as much, because I am not great at blending it out, this stick allows you to place color right were you like it. I am going to use this for New Year’s Eve, because it adds just enough shine and would really compliment a party face.

Day 8: R&R
Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisture Protein Complex Intensely Hydrating Masque

$2.32 - 1.5 oz    (Full Size!)

Again, I wasn’t expecting this with the teaser (I was expecting a sheet mask to be honest), but I am still really happy with the product. This deep conditioner packet is enough for at least three uses, and it does a great job at not only deeply conditioning but repairing months of damage. Every time I use this, my hair is so soft and super shiny. This is a great way to reset your hair after months of product and heat styling, so I may just keep this for the New Year. Plus, this foil packet is a full size item!

Day 9: Time Travel
Honest Beauty Everything Organic Facial Oil

$55.00 - 1 fl oz    ($1.65 Value)

Oh! This, I was not expecting. I’ve tried out Honest products from the subscription service, and I do know they are now available at target stores, but I did not expect one of these items in this advent calendar. Facial oil change the appearance of my face, and I like to use them at least a few times a week. Honest products are all natural and organic, so not only do I feel great about using this on my face, but I feel like it works even better. This tube is quite small, but it will be enough for a few uses, and I am going to love what it does to my skin.

Day 10: Multitasking Must-Have
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

$5.99

Day 10 is super fun with a beauty tool instead of a beauty product. I use sponges all the time, but they do wear out within a few months, so it is always great to have another on hand. This sponge by Real Techniques has a unique shape, which makes it easier to get into tight spaces but also easily cover my entire face. I don’t love it as much as the classic beauty blender, but you cannot go wrong with this price.

Day 11: Party Prep
Eyelure False Eyelashes Naturals No. 031

$3.74

I don’t normally throw on false eyelashes, but they are great for special events, and since I know a big one coming up really quick, these are welcomed with open arms. I love how these look so natural, but they do wear a little clunky. I wouldn’t exactly reach for these on my wedding day, but for New Year’s Eve, they work perfectly. This little box comes with glue too, so you won’t need to worry about purchasing it separately. I love this little addition, and it was a great surprise to open.

Day 12: Fresh Start
Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash

$6.89 - 5 oz    ($0.96 Value)

It’s the last day of the advent calendar, and I am really sad to see it go, but more excited to continue to use everything I received in this collection. Since it is the last day, I was hoping for something great, but instead I received something good. This cleanser is as exciting as it can be, as it is made with natural ingredients, and I am already a huge fan of Pacifica. It does work great, but it dries out my skin slightly. Nothing a little face moisturizer won’t fix though. This wasn’t too exciting, but it is a great way to clean up the mess after the holidays are over.

Overall, I really enjoyed this year’s advent calendar. It delivered a bunch of great products and a lot of diversity. My favorites are the deep conditioning mask, the lip exfoliator, and the eye cream. I was able to try out products I would never purchase in store too, like the lavender highlighter and the face oil. This advent calendar has a value of $44.01. That is great compared to the $15 price, and well worth the excitement of opening up a door each day. I love that Target puts out a beauty advent calendar, and I will continue to buy them until they stop.

BarkBox November 2017 Review - Pupstate Orchards

Yea! My dog’s BarkBox has arrived for the month of November, and since we are getting close to the holidays, these toys and treats always seem a little more special than normal. BarkBox is a monthly subscription box that delivers toys and treats for your dog around a theme for only $29. I used a coupon early on that locked me at $20 each box, which makes the products much more enjoyable. The toys are always so cute and durable, and the treats are always versatile and healthy, so this box is really a great value.

This month’s theme is “Pupstate Orchards.” While fall has already been in full bloom, the taste of the season will never get old, and this theme will bring all the best flavors of my favorite season. It is also fun to share this season with my dog in this way. I really do love this theme, and I think they are going to deliver some uniquely designed toys in its honor. My dog is dying to dig into everything inside, so let’s not hold him back any longer.

Max and Ruffys Mac + Cheese Treats

$12.00 - 4.5 oz

Mac & Cheese isn’t really the first think I think of when heading to an apple orchard, but I still like these unique treats. These grain treats taste like your favorite childhood dinner, but packed with much more nutrients. I love the size of these too. They are a perfect treat for him to enjoy after a successful trip outside or a line of tricks. He really enjoys them too. I wish he would stop and savor, but instead he just gulps it up. At least he doesn’t ignore them.

Bark & Co Johnny Apple Squeaks

$12.00

This has got to be one of the cutest toys I have ever seen. Not only does it go perfectly with the theme, but it is a toy that will keep him entertained in so many ways. First, these apples fit tightly into the barrel, so pulling them out is a chore, and once he has them all out, they become soft toss and squeak balls that can be tossed by me or chomped on by himself. This is one of my favorite toys I’ve seen from my BarkBox maybe ever, and he loves it too. He gets so excited when I stuff the apples back in.

Bark & Co Bonfire Bites

$10.00 - 5 oz

Again, this isn’t exactly the flavor I think of when visiting an apple orchard, but it does feel like fall, and these treats are unlike anything I’ve seen in stores. With a maple and smoky taste, these bite sticks are a great treat to calm down your dog and get him to concentrate on something else for a minute, or they are great when he deserves a nicer and bigger reward. I love the variety or treats that BarkBox delivers, and these will be a great addition to his treat jar. I wish they were more symbolic of fall, but these still work.

Bark & Co Puggin' Spice Latte

$10.00

Come on! PSLs are the staple of fall, and I can’t escape the season without stopping to get one, and now my dog gets to join in on the fun. This “puggin” spice late looks just like the one you’d receive from Starbucks, but your dog’s version includes a plush shell and a large squeak inside, so he’ll love tossing and chomping on this toy. This may not be one of his favorite toys, but II love when he pulls it out to play, because it gives me such a good laugh. Weekend mornings are going to be so much more fun at our house.

Superior Farms Lamb Ears

$6.00 - 2 ears

BarkBox always delivers a rawhide or jerky to each box, which I love, because it adds variety, but I also don’t ever want to pay full price on these type of items that will just be gobbled up quickly. Lamb Ears are one of his favorites, and this pack delivers two, so he gets double the treat. These are great for when you need him to take some time to himself, or he’s been a really good dog. I always hold onto these until the opportunity is right.

Overall, I am really happy with this month’s box. The treats didn’t stay on theme as well as I would’ve liked, but the variety is great, and he liked all of the flavors. The two toys in this box are two of my favorites we’ve ever received. I love how the apples in a barrel keep him occupied and the four piece set is also so versatile. The spiced latte is just too darn cute. This month’s box has a value of $50. That is great for a box that only cost me $20, and I could not get everything for that price in stores. December is up next, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for the holidays.

If you would like to try BarkBox for yourself, just click here. It is a great way to treat your dog at a great price for quality products.

Sephora Play! November 2017 Review - Survival of the Chillest

Yea! My Sephora Play! has arrived for the month of November, and since the holidays are here, I am really excited for a some travel size beauty products ready to up my beauty game. Sephora Play! is a monthly subscription box that delivers six beauty samples (one always a perfume) to your door in a drawstring bag for only $10. These boxes usually value around $40, and I love the samples, so it worth much more than the cost. This has quickly become one of my favorite subscription boxes, and I can't wait to check out my samples each and every month.

This month's theme is "Survival of the Chillest." The holidays are always so hectic and stressful, and you really don't have much time to relax, These products will help make the most of that time you do have, but they will also cut down on your "get ready" time, so you'll have more time to chill. I am definitely a little overwhelmed this time of year, so I would love a few products to help me relax, and these sample sizes are ideal for travel, which I will be doing a lot of the next couple weeks.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

$26.00 - 0.32 oz    ($13.81 Value)

Ohh, la la! I am a huge fan of Marc Jacobs mascara, and this formula seems even more luxe than usual. This mascara promises major volume, and it lives up to the expectations. The wand and formula also does a great job separating and curling lashes as well. This may be one of my favorite mascara's I've ever tried, and the size it great for traveling. Plus, it is difficult to use the entire full size tube before the product expires or starts to clump, so these smaller sized tubes mean no wasted product. This is the perfect start to this box.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask

$35.00 - 2.5 oz    ($2.38 Value)

I wasn’t sure what was in this tiny tube at first, but now that I know it is a clay mask, I am really excited to give it a try. This award winning product exfoliates skin and leaves it refreshed and clear. It also promises to extract pores and calm uneven skin. This definitely exfoliates skin, but is much more gentle than I expected, and within one use, my skin appeared brighter and renewed. I am really surprised with the difference with just 20 minutes. I really like this product, and I wish this jar were just a tad larger. I would like to get a few more uses out of it before I consider repurchasing.

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

$22.00 - 5.3 oz    ($3.11 Value)

I love receiving these sample size dry shampoos in my subscription boxes, because they are perfect for traveling. This one comes with open arms, too, because I’ve already sampled and loved this product. The spray doesn’t leave hair full of product or whitened out, but instead soaks up oil almost invisibly. Also, this smells so nice. I really hate when my dry shampoos remind me of dirty hair, but this product gives hair that refreshed scent as well. I will want to use this right away, but I will have to hold onto this until I travel for the holidays.

Sephora Collection Rouge Cream Lipstick in The Red

$12.50 - 0.14 oz    ($3.13 Value)

While I am never too excited about receiving Sephora’s brand named products, this true red tube lipstick is hard to resist. I love classic red lips, and I am so over the liquid lipstick craze, so this item is absolutely perfect for me. Also, since I’ve never used up a lipstick in my life, this tiny tube is plenty for me, and I won’t have to repurchase until this item expires or I misplace it (which is what normally happens). I love the bluish tones in this color, which brighten teeth, and the colors lasts. I love this product and am finally willing for Sephora to send us more products from their line.

Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer

$45.00 - 1.7 oz    ($9.00 Value)

I cannot stop lusting over this product, and I am so happy I had a chance to try it out. Farmacy products not only arrive in the most luxe packaging, but the formulas are some of my favorites. Made with natural ingredients, this lightweight moisturizer leaves skin hydrated and radiant, and with special ingredients like Echinacea and cupuacu butter, this will soften and heal skin as well. Plus, the light scent is really nice. This is my dream moisturizer, and I am going to love using up this sample.

Burberry My Burberry Blush

$90.00 - 1.6 oz    ($3.38 Value)

While many people don’t love these perfume samples, they are my favorite addition, because I love mixing up my scent by mood, event, and season. This floral by Burberry isn’t exactly something I would expect to love, but it is just the right amount of sweet and feminine without being too much. This perfume has key notes of pomegranate, rose, and jasmine which make it romantic and refreshing. I could see myself wearing this on date night or to a bridal event. I wish this scent tied in better with the season, but I can easily just hold onto this scent until spring.

Overall, I am really happy with this month’s box. The mascara and moisturizer are my favorites, while the lipstick, dry shampoo, and clay mask are all great as well. Really, the only true item I didn’t love is the perfume, but I will still use it when I’m in the mood. This month’s box has a value of $34.84. That is a little low for this subscription but still great for a $10 box. Also, since I really like all of the products, I am not too worried about how much it’s all worth.
